Soul Takers 2.0

Rylee stopped mid attack. Voodoo gasped in pain as he fell. Rylee screamed out in pain and fell to his knees. a hole ripped open in his chest and black blood poured out.

Glitch froze, just watching and not knowing what to do.

Wishbone growled and tried to attack Doom, biting the arm that was stabbed into Voodoo

Doom hissed and pulled back. Scars leg bleed.

"RYLEE!" Colton gasped.

Wishbone jumped from Doom's arm and onto his shoulder, biting down on the spot where his neck met his shoulder. His eyes were melting and dripping down, as well as the edges of his mouth making him look all the more scarier. He dug his fangs deeper into Doom's collarbone.

Glitch moved to Scar to see if he was alright. Mahic did the same to Kro.

Scar started to bleed from where wishbone bit Doom.

Colton watched as the Light left Voodoo's eyes.

"Wishbone stop it!" Glitch yelled.
Wishbone heard her and jumped off of Doom, moving to keep a few paces away from him.
"Colton get Rylee and Scar back to the house if you can!" Glitch said. She then got up and turned to Doom. "What do you want with us!?" She shouted at him.

"I want your souls!" He laughed.

Suddenly Colton grabbed Glitch and switched forms and started running. "MAHIC FLY! Dont touch the ground!" He called.

[Mahic can't fly she's a human!!!]

Mahic ignored him, carefully half picking Kro up and moving him away from Doom, laying him down again a few yards away.

"What are you doing!? What about Scar and Voodoo and Rylee!?!" Glitch jumped off of Colton after he switched forms

[I thought she was also a Griffin!?]

"I can only carry one at a time and I can't do much for Rylee or Voodoo! Please!" he whined. There was a loud growling sound emitting from rylee.

[no I changed that not long after I started rping her]

"You grab one and I can grab the others!" Glitch ran back over, shifting to her dragon form, which was about twice the size of a horse. Folding her wings in to get through the trees she picked Scar up and put him on her back. She reached for Rylee but noticed him growling and wondered if he was about to do something.

Mahic looked over every once in a while but was mostly worried about Kro's scorched arms. There was also a bit of blood coming from his forehead where Glitch had hit him with a log.

[Oh...NEVER MIND!]

"Leave Rylee gGlitch! Just fly! Stay off the ground!" He called. Colton charged over and threw Mahic over his shoulder and picked Kro up in his jaw. He took off running.

Suddenly the ground around Rylee blackened, the color and life sucked from grass. The black 'spot' started to grow and expand. It rushed toward Glitch.

Glitch noticed the ground around Rylee and quickly took flight, maneuvering through the branches and out above the tree tops. She headed for the house as quickly as she could.

Wishbone followed them, and while he wasn't fast enough to keep away from the blackened ground it didn't matter.

The spreading ground didn't affect Wishbone. Colton on the other hand was running at full speed trying to stay ahead of the spot.

The tree she was weaving around suddenly started to fall over. It's bark and leaves becoming a blackened mass.

Glitch flew as high up as she could, staying pace flying above Colton and looking down to make sure he was okay.

"Glitch keep flying until the blackness stopps completely." He called. He keep running.

"Alright." Glitch swooped around a bit, moving back over towards where Rylee was just to get a glimpse and see if he was okay. She swerved and glided back in the direction of the house. "How long does this last for?"

"Until Rylee has regained the amount of souls he lost." He called.

"Can I land on the house? Is it safe there?" Glitch asked.

"I dont know." He said. "This has only happened once before."

"Find a good place to stop and I'll take Mahic and that guy." Glitch said.

Colton nodded looking back to see the blackness was about 20feet behind him.

Glitch swooped down and let Mahic climb onto her back while she picked Kro up in her jaws, not trusting him at all even if he was unconscious. If he woke up and tried to fight her she could snap him in half with only minor effort.

"Just keep going, he'll have to stop sometime." He said as he keep running now able to run faster.

Glitch flew pretty far on ahead, beyond the house, guessing and hoping the blackness wouldn't reach that far. She landed on some trees to rest a bit.

Colton caught up and keep watching the blackness. It keep coming.
