Guardians (RP thread)

"I give a damn about you Samara. I give a damn about all of you." he said strongly. "Look, I know that this is weird and scary, but it'll be okay." Ajax said. "You know...nothing is more terrifying than being a child all alone living inside a cardboard box scared to leave because he sees demons walking the streets." Aj said. "It really does something up here to a kid." he said tapping gently on his head.

" Yeah. Trying being abused by the people who supposedly cared about me." Samara snapped getting to her feet. " I'm not your guardian you have the wrong person."

"You are Sam." Ajax said standing. "I can see that you are." he said.

" How can you tell I'm this " Guardian"." Sam said using air quotation.

"I'm a Dragkin, I can see many wonderful things. And thank fully these wonderful things I see out way all the bad I see. I can prove to yourself you are guardian." He said. "Give me your hand."

Sam shook her head not trusting anyone to touch her.

Fine then cup your hands together." He said. "As if drinking water."

" Really? You think I'm going to do that?" Sam rolled her eyes backing away. " thank for the food but I really should get going."

He murmured something softly. A stone ring grew around the two, blocking them in. "You  need to see this." He told her.

" See what? There is nothing to see." Sam snapped glaring at ajax.

"Cup your hands." He said.

" No." Sam.said being stubborn.

"If you do this exersise and still don't believe you're the guardian of earth then I'll let you go willingly." He said.

Sam glared but cupped her hands.

Eli went ahead and ate. Directly after that he walked over to a window so he could see how Ajax was doing with Sam. I understand how she feels... I'm no guardian either. But I'm choosing to stay... at least for now. It isn't as bad as some places I was growing up. I just hope she realizes this place isn't so bad. I could use a friend who understands what it's like... After a couple more minutes Eli walked away from the window and went up the stairs to his room

Ajax took something out of his pocket. He showed it to Her. "This is an apple seed." he said dropping it into her hand.

" An apple seed? What I'm supposed to do with this?" Sam asked.

He bent down and picked up a handful of dirt. He smiled and dropped the dirt into the hand. "Now, think of something happy." He said.

' think happy? What's that going to do?" Samara asked.

"Life, feeds off joy. Think of something happy. A beautiful sun rise. Puppies." He said. "Little babies laughing." he smiled. He murmured a word she didn't understand and the air shimmered and three large drops of water landed onto the soil in her hand.

" Life isn't happy. Is dark and its crule. " Sam glared at him. " so joy my ass life isn't joyful. It hurts and cuta away at you."

"Just think something happy." He said. "The world is dark, I know this. But the guardian of earth, you, make the world such a better place." He said.

"I know that it is." he said. "The world is dark and cruel. But the guardian of Earth, you, make this world so much better." He said.

Eli walked back out of his room and down the stairs
