Jacob took a drink and he looked at Opal, "I have a feeling about something I might have said to you before"

Opal tilted her head thoughtfully, "Oh?"

"While I was asleep I had a rather vivid dream of a time we were in a situation like this and I looked up at you, straight into your eyes, smiled, and said 'Hey Beautiful'"

Opal blushed and looked down, fondly looking back at the time, "Yes, you'd said that to me once"

"I know for a fact I've had to have said that You look even better when you blush" Jacob said smiling at her blush

Opal blushed brighter and gazed back up at him, "You always know what to say. Always a charmer" she giggled

Jacob chuckled, "I bet that normally this would be when I kiss you."

"Haha, yes" she smiled shyly

"I knew you were hiding something from me. Why hide that we're in a relationship though? I've liked you since the moment I laid my eyes on you, which is probably true for when we first met as well" Jacob asked

Opal smiled sweetly, "I didn't want to pressure you into anything, besides, you were already under stress"

"The boy earlier... He... He's our son?" Jacob asked

"It's a bit complicated, but yes, in another time," Opal said trying to think about how to explain it to him

"Look, you don't have to explain, I already know we aren't normal." Jacob said. "Strangely I'm not freaked out about it in the least"

Opal smiled, "Hahaha, well I'm glad that you're not freaked out"

"The only thing I'm scared of is that thing from outside.... It was messed up"

Opal nodded and squeezed his hand, "I'm having Aden and Ren go check it out"

Aden nudged Ren and whispered in his ear. Ren nodded and the two headed out

James looked up at Kishan, not knowing for a moment that he was talking to him. "Um, Death's place is still an option, he agreed to it. But if Doom is watching that place I guess you're right not to want to stay there."

"No! You can't send Aden! It's attacking only people in my bloodline! Only the guys! It said that when it attacked me and now... Now that I know Aden is my son, it will attack him! Opal you can't let that happen!" Jacob yelled fearing for Aden's life

The thing was out in the forest, but it wasn't a thing it was a who. "They are all going to suffer until I find him. Connor needs to die and I will take his place. He was an idiot for stopping the shadows from getting his father, because I'm worse than he could ever imagine. I already made everyone lose their memories except Aden, after that.... I'll kill them all."

Jacob looked terrified, "It's after someone named Connor, it says it will take his place. It said as soon as it makes the last one in the bloodline lose his memory it will start killing us. Aden is the last one"
