Kro let the vines fall back to the ground. She looked around for Colton

Kirin's eyes flickered around the clearing. "Hmmm, now that is interesting."

"He can disappear almost like you." Iroga noted.

"So it seems" Kirin agreed before looking back towards Rei to check on her

Riley turned. "Colton!" He called again only to have no reply.

Kirin turned back and shifted, "I don't actually know if he's even still here" she said softly

"If he left at least he's not attacking or killing anyone now." Iroga said

Kirin nodded, "Yeah, now maybe we can figure out what's going on"

"I wouldn't ask them too many prying questions right now. They're our hosts and we just got here." Iroga said.

Rei sat in her room, attempting to focus her energy in a single point which was causing a large aura of power around the mansion.

Archer sighed, sitting on top of a familiar group of ruins and looking over at the mansion.

Kirin face palmed, "Right, I kind of forgot about that" She looked out to the clearing, and then back at the mansion. "We'll give them some time then, see if we can help at all, and hopefully we can start piecing things together"

Archer paced back and forth, his presence still vastly noticeable to anyone within several dozen miles.

Kirin turned back sharply and scanned the tops of the trees. She touched Iroga's shoulder, "I'll be back, try to take it easy," she warned before disappearing. The leaves rustled and the scent of roses followed in it's wake. Kirin felt for Archer's energy, trying to find where it was coming from

Archer stood in a wide open clearing, focusing his energy which continued to grow. Odd tendrils of crimson energy stuck to him and reached out as if alive, clawing to get away.

The breeze made a wide circle around Archer. Kirin stepped out of the air a ways away from Archer and crouched behind some of the rubble to watch him

He grinned, the energy manifesting itself and the tendrils reaching out, "So we meet again, child of the wind, have you come for a fight again?" He holds out his hands, the blood-like energy forming to short swords.

Kirin stood, "I appreciate the title, but ifI've understood the legends correctly, I far say I'm at least a couple of centuries older than you. I am no kid," she responded calmly, only glancing at the weapons. "I came merely to observe, and perhaps talk for a moment. Your energy is highly intriguing after all" she continued to walk closer to him, simply moving a around the short swords

He snickers, "One does not age normally in hell. Not that you would know this." He releases the short swords which transform back into the blood energy that was surrounding him. He glances at her and suddenly falls to his knees, a pained noise coming from him. His voice having completely changed to match something much more ancient, an accent from the times of The Crusades. "H-Hikari?", an image of his long lost wife standing next to Kirin flashes through his mind, paining him. "T-The resemblance is unreal." The energy flickers from the heavy, crimson to a flaming sapphire in several spots as he clutches his head.

"I-It can't be you" The energy grows, surrounding him and rising high into the air as it changes from crimson to sapphire multiple times, the two types of energy seemingly attacking each other.

Kirin raised her eyebrow and observed him. She kneeled beside him, her soft, sea foam eyes searching his face carefully. "I beg your pardon?"

He shakes his head, panting and sweating profusely, "Y-You look just like her. M-My Hikari" He shakes, digging his fingering into his hair. "You aren't, you can't be. She's dead. She's dead" He said this more to try and convince himself than her, trying to regain control of himself.

Kirin looked at him and gently placed her hand on his head. She breathed deeply for a moment before create a pocket of almost soft air to try to help calm him. "Relax." She said softly

Rhett went back inside the house

He breathed slowly, the energy turning corrupted again as he realized that his wife truly was dead. "Sorry about that" He growls and stands, "My wife won't ever come back."

Kirin's eyes flashed silver for a brief moment before backing away, looking at him carefully. "Yeah, don't worry about it... Where did you go wrong?" She murmured

His eyes glint red as he yells, the energy exploding upwards and the ground near him dying, "That's better." He looks over at her, the energy still swirling around him and reaching out to grab her. "Now what do you want to talk about."
