Nyla eyes fluttered open"Did it work? "

"Yeah but are you okay?" Akaru asked looking worried

"Good." She smiled weakly.

"Are you okay though? You just collapsed." Akaru said

" I'm fine." she lied trying to sit up. But she couldn't her whole body was sore it seems to feel like she herself took their pain onto herself.

"Wolf help me lift her up onto the couch." Akaru said and started to pick her up

Wolf picked her up.

Akaru with Wolf set her down on the couch and put a pillow under her head

"You okay?" Cutter asked.

" Yeah." She nodded.

"You sure?" He asked.

" Yeah." She nodded again. Sitting up whinching a bit. " Cutter I can heal. I'm not a monster." She smiled still getting use to the fact her body felt different to her.

"That's good baby." Cutter said. He caressed her face.

" has anything else about me changed? " She asked softly. She knew her eyes were purple now but didn't know her mouse brown hair was looking more blond and that her features have become softer looking.

"You look, younger...and you also have more blonde hair." He said.

" Blond? Last time I had blond hair I was 10." She tried to Crack a joke but she sounded to weak to make it work.

"I like you no matter the hair color." Cutter said.

" I wonder why my features are changing." Nyla mumbled tiredly.

"No clue." He said.

Akaru sat down on the floor across from them still looking very concerned.

Wolf nuzzled him. "I'm glad you're better." He said.

"I'm not if it means Nyla won't be okay..." He sighed and looked down.

Nyla had fallen asleep from exhaustion of healing two people.

"She just looks tired to me." Wolf said.

"I hope that's all it is." Akaru said and leaned against Wolf
