Adri was in a ball crying

"Okay..." He still stared at her arm. "What now?"

Kirin lifted his chin gently and gazed at him, "We'll find Amber and Adri, but... are you alright?"

Amber rested her hand on Adri's shoulder

Iroga moved one of his arms and winced suddenly, hissing through his teeth with pain. "Probably broke some ribs or my shoulder..." He sighed, straightening up again. "Where do you think they went?"

Kirin glared at him worriedly before sighing, "Let's try upstairs"

Iroga nodded and went for the stairs without another word

Adri shrank back from Amber's touch. A wave of energy seemed to flow from her

Kirin watched him go, a little confused, and a touch hurt before heading up after him

Amber sat a short distance away from her, quietly

Iroga went through several rooms before finding Amber and Adri. "Is she alright?" he looked to Amber

Amber got up and walked over to him, "Physically, she'll be fine, but she's hurting" she said sadly

Kirin came up to the door way

"What did that man want with her?" He asked

"I think it could have been for her abilities," Amber suggested. She got close to his ear and whispered, "She's the last one of her family"

"He's gone. All we can do now is keep her safe." Iroga sat down against the wall, wincing again and glancing over at Kirin.

Adri stood up suddenly, her half blood red eye was glowing. "He wants to kill me." Her voice sounded ancient but soft and lacked her normal stutter. "He wants to end the possibility of the prophecy becoming true."

"What prophecy?" Iroga looked up

Kirin had looked away from Iroga, guiltily before looking up at Adri

Amber looked at Adri with some surprise

"Something wrong, Kirin?" He looked at her concerned and confused

Kirin shook her head, "No, we should just try to get you fixed up soon. It's not good for you to hurt so much" she insisted softly

"I've had worse. I just have to take it easy for a while, let everything heal on it's own." Iroga said.

Kirin gave him a look, but didn't protest. She held her arm where she'd been touched , "You'll have to really take it easy then, you could hardly handle the last couple of days, and you could still move around. You'll probably have to stay in bed for a while"

He came back and fought the darkness during his father's time, causing a three way split when the darkness attempted to consume him. The darkness took his form and had every single one of his powers, but he himself remained his own person and a third being of pure light came into existence."

Amber stood, taking it all in

"Is your arm bothering you?" Iroga asked Kirin, also listening to Adri

Adri continued, "The light trapped the darkness and Connor went on a journey through space and time to find the way to defeat the darkness for good. He and the child of an angel had two children. Alec and myself. We possessed energy far greater than any previous demon and it hit him, the child in the prophecy was one of both angelic and demon descent. Either my brother or myself."

"That's a hell of a lot of weight for one kid" Amber murmured

Again, Kirin shook her head, "It's alright I was just kind of thinking about it"
