Blaze watched the food cook. "So, tell me about what's happened?" he said. "I'm interesting in knowing what these two have done in the past years."

"Mostly just defended this house and tried to find out what all those dead parts of the forest are." Char replied

"That's boring."

"Boring is good. Boring means there's no threat." Char said

"Yeah, but where is the fun in life? It needs an adventure."

"I'm not risking anyone's lives for adventure. Rhett already almost died twice today." Charlotte sighed

"I guess Humans are different."

"Of course they're different." Char said, glancing at Iroga. "You should go lie down and rest somewhere."

Iroga just gave a short groan in response, already comfortable where he was.

"Well sorry for being a fire demon." Blaze said.

"I think I'll start making dinner....I'll go see when Rhett wants." Char went upstairs.

Charlotte came back downstairs and started making the dinner after Rhett had told he her wasn't hungry. She made some more pasta and some salad.

Oooooo, pasta! ]

Amber carried Adri intoone of the rooms closest to the stairs before walking groggily down the stairs

Charlotte set out plates of food for everyone

Amber perked up seeing the plates, "Can I help with anything?" she asked Charlotte

"No all the food's done. Sit down and enjoy." Char smiled, sitting down with her own plate.

"Can I help?" Blaze said.

Amber smiled happily, "Thanks!" She turned and jumped a little, startled to see Blaze

"No, just eat." Char smiled and sat down. She picked at her food a bit, her mind wandering.

Kro woke up hours later and she sat up, not remembering falling asleep. "I think we should leave this place now..." She said, not checking if anyone was listening to her.

"Why is that?" Alec asked from somewhere else in the room

"We just should. I think we've overstayed our welcome, and this place is creepy..." Kro replied, getting out of the bed

"How is it creepy?" Alec asked

"It's an ancient ruined cathedral with ghosts everywhere! What part of it isn't creepy?" She asked

Alec shrugged, "I can't see any of that, but I do feel the ghosts. They don't bother me."
