Soul Takers 2.0

Kro walked kept walking further and further away until she found a spot to sleep for the night. She grew plants to make a small shelter for her and fell asleep inside.

Kirin glanced over at him and nodded, "She may still be upstairs" she said, some of her caution resurfacing.

"Adri..... It's been so long.... would she even recognize me.....?" Alec said kinda ignoring Kirin in favor of speaking his own thoughts aloud to him self

"I think she will... just wait here for a minute" Kirin said gently before starting towards the stairs

Alec just stood there in thought

Adri was still asleep

Kirin sat beside her for a moment and smiled softly. The last thing Kirin wanted to do was wake the poor girl.

Adri's eyes flashed open, her half red eye was glowing. "Something dangerous is here."

Alec shuffled his feet, "I really wish I could.... what was that?" He grabbed his head and fell to the floor writhing in pain. He couldn't scream, it was as though someone was suffocating him while beating his head in with a baseball bat from within his skull.

Ignace walked down the hall, with a sling he had put on his arm for his broken shoulder. He passed Adri's room and stopped, noticing Kirin in there. "You're back." He smiled and said quietly, trying not to wake Adri.

Rhett was in his room, sitting on his bed with his back to the wall and looking a little pale.

(Lol Adri is up though, I mean she just opened her eyes and spoke)

Kirin jumped as Adri spoke. Then, she went a bit cold, "Alec..." she said a bit absently. "Adri, please stay here. Iroga," she said, going up to him, "I'll explain in a minute, but please keep an eye on Adri"

"Oh, okay..." Ignace nodded and walked over to stand a few feet from Adri's bed. "Who's Alec?" He asked

Adri blinked, "A-Alec is m-my d-dead tw-twin brother....."

Alec continued to write in pain unable to even breathe. He thought, Oh no... it's happening again...

Kirin nodded her thanks and rushed down the stairs. She paused briefly when she saw Alec's pain before hurrying over. "Alec! Alec, what's wrong? What's happening?"

"Oh..." Ignace looked after the way Kirin had left, over at the door. "How are you?" He asked Adri

Alec grabbed hold of the collar of his shirt pulling on it to indicate he was unable to breathe.

Adri replied, "I'm fine but... my eye kind of hurts..." Her half red eye was still glowing

Kirin crouched beside him and trying to figure out if something was actually strangling him and if she could figure out how to stop it

Alec's eyes rolled up in the back of his head and then his eyes closed and he stopped moving. A few seconds later his red eye opened and was no longer a pale red. It was a bright glowing blood red

Kirin jumped, her eyes filled with concern, "Alec...?"

Alec stood up and opened his other eye, it was no longer pale either and it was half red half blue. "I.... I can see..."

Kirin stood and examined him, rather dumbfounded. "But how?" she asked

Alec shrugged, "I don't know. I felt a surge of energy inside my head... it felt like I was being beaten with a baseball bat while being strangled... then i opened my eyes and could see"

Kirin circled him a couple of times, "Well... how do you feel now?"

"I feel perfectly fine... though my eye does burn a little..." Alec replied

"Which one?" she asked peering closely at his eyes
