Amber tapped her lip, "Okay, okay, let's leave portals aside for right now. Let's see if we can figure out if you have an additional form"

[I just REALLY wanna know how she'd look with the whole demon/angel thing ]

Adri looked up and said, "W-well I know a-all the F-Fallen A-Angels had a s-second form except the f-few humans..."

Amber clapped her hands a bit excitedly, "Well let's see if you can do it!" She tapped her fingers together thoughtfully, "But how do we bring it on?"

Adri looked down and crossed one arm to her other side and supported her head by having the other bent up at the elbow and putting her hand balled into a fist under her chin. She slowly closed her eyes and went silent for a few minutes. Her mind wandered into a vision of Eli and Caleb being taught to use their demon forms when they first became soul takers. She heard Eli questioning what all could be done with the demon form as though he were hungry for power where as Caleb had remained relaxed in the background just listening to it all. His eyes were blank but as the one teaching them started to turn into his demon form, Adrian had walked into view and Caleb's soft and caring eyes had been brought back to him. Eli glanced at his brother and saw that his eyes had gone to what they used to be and smiled. The two of them worked together after that to become stronger and learn to control their demon forms.

*Within Caleb's mind in the scene* "Ugh... who cares what all we can do... To live we collect souls and bring them back. That's it. Why can't Eli just stop and accept we have no......" It was at that moment that Caleb saw Adrian for the first time in his life. He had heard of her before as she was the quiet demon that seemed to have a plan of her own for the future despite it all being 'futile'. "Wow.... she's....." Caleb shook his head as his old brightness and mind had returned to him in that moment. "What am I thinking? Eli has the right idea! We might be demons.... soul takers.... but that doesn't mean we can't have a future of our own. And... I don't know why.... but I think I just saw mine." Caleb suddenly became more energetic and quickly learned how to control his powers. It was this whole scene... that revealed to Adri what she needed to learn her powers. A dream of her own.

Adri opened her eyes and a single tear dropped from her eyes. "Th-that.... was a-amazing.... I l-love this a-ability to see th-the past...." She smiled widely and said, "All I n-need is a dr-dream of my own. My dr-dream.... is to s-see my h-home d-dimension one day. A-and.... to s-save my br-brother from the g-grip of e-evil."

Amber's eyes lit with what she could think of no better word for than with pride. "Harness that dream Adri, hold tight to it and feel it deep within your soul" she coaxed

[Haha, and for the 100th time, I've nearly spelled "Adrian"]

Adri's eyes started to glow, both the bright blue and blood red parts of them. Slowly her body started to change shape, she grew taller, straight from her tiny size to bigger than Amber in just minutes. She sprouted a demonic tail and her hands become demonic as well with her fingernails turning into real claws. However... unexpected things started to happen as she had a very thin wing that appeared to be made mostly of light come out behind her left shoulder blade and a more feathery and dark wing from behind her right shoulder blade. The left wing was a mix of a golden orange and white, while the right wing started off a darker orange and faded into the black wings of a true fallen angel. From her head extended one half formed horn on the right side and an icy blue halo formed above her head.... a halo that floated but while cracked and broken into a bunch of tiny pieces on one part. Adri's hair grew a bit longer, but other than that the rest of her features remained pretty much the same as her normal human form.

Once Adri's transformation into her alternate form seemed to be mostly complete, she shrunk back down to around her normal size, as her angel side appeared to be more dominate than her demonic side and angels didn't grow larger as they transformed into their angelic forms unlike demons.

"Good morning. Should I get you an ice pack?" Ignace asked, noticing her touching the back of her head.

[Eeeeeppp!!! It's a good thing I headed off when I did, I would have been to excited to sleep had I read Adri's transformation ]

Amber stared a moment in awe. "W-well done," she said, thoroughly impressed.

Kirin waved her hand dismissively and smiled, "It'll be fine. Thank you though." She stepped out of her room and closed the door behind her before gesturing downstairs, "After you."

Ignace nodded and went down the stairs, heading straight to the kitchen and pouring the coffee into two mugs.

Kirin followed and put some bread into the toaster before fishing around in the fridge for some butter. "Oh! Do you usually put any creamer in you coffee?"

"Kro! Colton!?" Riley called as he ran through the forest.

[Well... almost everyone is in the base (save for Kro, Colton, and Riley), Kirin and Ignace brought back Lockwood (Strom demon from creepy cathedral that was ransacked by a large group of reapers), Adri is still downstairs trying to discover/unlock/play around with different abilities that she may have (Funnel's got a lovely explanation her secondary form ), everyone went to bed, Kirin and Ignace have woken up and are having coffee, and Kirin is making toast Tada!!]

"No I drink it black." Ignace said.

Rhett came down the stairs, looking exhausted and a bit pale. Ignace noticed him and poured another cup of coffee, handing it to Rhett as he walked over.

Kro had camped for the night in a tree. She still slept soundly as the sun came up, the branches of the tree bending around her almost protectively.

The tree sent out a signal to Riley where she was. Riley went to find her. "Kro." he called up softly.

Kirin nodded and poured the creamer into her own coffee before putting it away.

She didn't hear him, sleeping soundly.

Rhett nodded in thanks and sat down at the island table sipping his coffee without a word.

Ignace sat down across from Rhett and watched Kirin for a moment.

Kirin glanced up from her mug and smiled.

Ignace smiled back then looked down at his mug.

Rhett took larger and larger sips gradually before he downed the last quarter of his coffee in one. He rested his head on his hands and sighed, staring down at the table top.

"Rhett? Are you still not feeling well?" Kirin asked
