"...He was a good kid..." Karin says softly, looking sad.

"There is nothing you could have done, Darling." Hunk said. "Ivan knew the risks of being a gargoyle. I just wish...he could have stayed." He said.

She looked down. "Still . . . didn't he go to the Sabers to get revenge for what two of them did to me and Jonas."

Val changed into a tank top and leggings and laid on her bed. She watched the door to her room for a while as if waiting for something.

Karin listens.

"Ivan had lost of reasons to go after the Sabers." He said.

A hand slid in and pushed the door open. Chase stood there. "You left in a rush Love."

"Yeah...." Val looked up at him. "Didn't want to be around those bodies anymore, it was starting to smell."

"I'll make sure they are removed by tomorrow." He said.

"That's good." Val smiled a bit

"We all have at least one reason to go after the Sabers."

Skylar clenched her hands into fists. "I'll make Chase pay one day. That's for sure."

"I know you will, darling. We all will. What we need to do right now, however, is not wallow in sadness. Many knew Ivan, and were close to him, but we have to be careful. Chase wants us to break, but we can't show him that we're hurting, or he'll feel a sense of victory." Karin states bluntly.

Chase grinned. "Good." He smiled. "How about we get out of here darling?" He asked.

Tad pulled himself up onto the horse only to be thrashed around by the angry horse. Mika watched smirking. "Just let go if you can't handle him!" She smiled.

"SHUT UP!" Tad roared.

She did not reply. She did not need to be lectured like a child. She glanced out the window.

The door of the bar opened up and Jonas walked in with a large bag over his back. He stopped seeing Skylar. He looked down and silently closed the door.

She looked up as the door opened, her heart giving a thud before she immediately made her way towards him. "Jonas . . . " she whispered, her gaze soft and full of sadness.

He dropped the bags he was carrying and wrapped his arms around her tightly. He hugged her to him, his body shaking.

She hugged him back just as tightly, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Jonas . . . I'm so sorry." She whispered, holding him and running her fingers through the hair on the back of his neck.

He cried softly. He hugged her close. "I'm sorry too..." He said. "I-I should have gone and told you right away."

""You have nothing to be sorry for. And I'm glad you didn't." She pressed her face into his neck. "I don't want you anywhere near the Sabers, okay? And I'm done with them. I can't go back to them and Chase."

"I'm glad to hear that." he whispered.

She cupped his cheeks. "But I'll make Chase pay. Don't worry." She whispered.

Karin sighs. She wants to find love like that, and she knew her sisters did too, especially Kanon, but her older sister was too scared to even try.

Kanon grins, as she watches their banter. "Come on, Tad! As much as I like Mika and how fun it is watching her rile you up, you need to win this!"

"And I'll be right there helping you." Jonas said.

"I know that!" Tad snarled He jerked on the reins. The horse bucked a bit more tossing Tad around. Tad stayed in the seat firmly. He finally got the horse to settle down. Mika smiled. "Thanks Tad, I've been trying to break him for months!" She laughed. "Now, Mack's waiting for you." She said. Tad growled and kicked the horse and lead him out of the barn to the arena. "So... you Tad's new toy?" Mika asked as she walked with Kanon to the fence.
