"Fish." Nephele replied, opening the fridge and crouching to look through the stuff at the bottom shelf.

Colton pulled the fish out of the freezer and pulled some rice down from the shelf. "Alright, pick out what vegetable you want Neph."

"We have the frozen peas, corn and pasta stuff in the freezer, it's already mixed together." Charlotte said.

"Sure." Neph shrugged, not being picky. She closed the fridge a little too hard and went to sit up on one of the stools.

Colton grabbed the mix and then placed it all on the counter. He explained and showed Neph the best way to cook the salmon and threw the rice on as he cooked the veggies.

"That's good." Colton said. He got down a box of brownie mix. "Here ya go, just follow the instructions, and call if you need help." He said.

Charlotte put the brownies in the oven and cleaned up around the counter. Neph crouched in front of the oven and stared in through the window. "When's dad coming back?"

Charlotte put the salmon and veggies out onto plates and passed one to Neph.

Rhett was sitting on the washroom floor against the wall, his arms around his stomach.

“Feeling a bit sick but I’m fine.” Rhett said, trying not to let on how much pain he really was in. He stood up slowly.
