Cheza stood behind him nervously.

"Hey kids, be careful, we have a new friend." He said. "Cheza these are the children."

Cheza peaked around him quietly.

The kids waved and smiled at her.

She waved back shyly.

One of the younger ones walked over to Cheza. "You have pwetty hair."

Cheza smiled " thanks."

"You called Cheza. Why?" They asked

" it's what scar named me." She answered.

"Scar named you!?" She gasped. "Not the leader!"

" he found me in the ruins. I was hiding from mean men trying to hurt me." She answered.

"You're from the ruins!?" the children gasped.

"Yes" she nodded.

"What is it like?"
"What monsters live there."
"Did you die?"
"Who lives up there?"
The children started to bombard her with question. "Alright knuckle heads that is enough." Tad told them as he shooed them off.

" the men are the monsters." Cheza said quietly.

The kids kept asking questions and Tadoda shoved them back.

Cheza just looked at them sadly. They would never no fear. Or at least the fear for their own life. They would be protected and loved. Unlike her. They would have everything she dreamed about.

A hand clapped her shoulder gently. "Cheza." the familiar voice of Scar said to her,

" scar!" She said happy hugging him.

Scar was taking back and stumbled back, falling as she hugged him. All the kids chirped and giggled. "Scar and Cheza sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" They chanted.
"Alright, that's enough you boneheads, get." Tadoda said shooing the kids away,

Cheza let our a soft giggle." Sorry." She apologized getting off him.

"It's okay, I'm just not a hugger." Scar said as he sat up. "I talked with the leader and he said for now we will let you stay with us, but you will be monitored closely by him, Tadoda and myself." He said as he stood up and helped her up.
"And you?" Tad asked. "I'm assuming you aren't off the hook." He said.
"I have night watch for the next 2 weeks." He grumbled.

Cheza fround hearing the tone he was using. He was in trouble for helping her. " I can leave if i need to."

"What, no." Tadoda said. "You don't need to leave. Scar would have been in trouble for just leaving clan territory. Nothing is your fault."

" I don't want you to get in trouble because of me."
