Guardians (RP thread)

"I can understand if you don't want to but it is good for you to watch, but it may be better for you to learn it after you have more skills acquired." He said. "But I don't think the two of them will fight much longer." He told her. "Azriel's tired."

" I've seen enough fighting this week." Sam mumbled.

"Then you can leave." Rayyan said. "Want me to come with?"

" do I have to be escorted every where?" She asked a hit flatly.

"No, only to the airport and then you are free to go where you please." Henri grumbled as he pulled out a cig. "Just DONT lose the phone."

"No, I just...I want to make sure you are okay." Rayyan said.

" you can join." Sam said turning away from the fight and walked away.

Rayyan followed behind her, levitating after her

She dicided to take a short walk in the woods surrounding the house.

Rayyan followed her letting her have time to herself. "Is there anything you want to talk about?" He asked.

" not really." She said softly with a weak shrug.

"Is something bothering you Sam?" Rayyan asked as he moved to be next to her. "You can tell me if something is." He said.

" everything bothers me." She told him bluntly.

"Then talk to us. If you don't let out what is bothering you it's likely that demons will try to attack you." He said.

" why do I get to do all these different things but the others can't? I already have control of the elements and lei is still struggling to just move a cup of water! I can have kids but it's forbidden from the others. I keep seeing people and things when I dream I can mentally go where others are I can read minds. But none of the others can even do that yet." Sam started to ramble.

Rayyan just listened to her. "It because earth is has it both the easiest and the hardest of all the guardians. "Yes you have learned skills from the other elements, but you will need easily 4 times the training to be able to manipulate and control them in the ways the others will learn easily to control them." Rayyan said. "Each of the Guardians bears a burden naturally. The Heaven Guardian sees how people will die but are forbidden from preventing or stopping someone from dying. The Hell Guardian has to deal with demons constantly attacking their barriers and their mind, weakening them mentally. The Purgatory Guardian isn't able to leave their realm of control or risk losing all the souls." Rayyan said as he placed his hand on her shoulder gently. "But Earth carries the heaviest burden. Out of all the Guardians, Earth is the only one required for life to go on."

" but why can I do all this already?" Sam asked looking up at him. " why have I been chosen to be earth... I don't deserve it..."

Rayyan moved to be in front of her. "You don't deserve it huh? Just yesterday I saw you Calm my brother and call to him. You are the first person to do that in almost a 100 years. The last person who did was a Native Shaman who stopped us from fighting by sharing some food he was cooking. He told us that food is a universal language and through it all wars can be stopped, but only if we give new things a try." Rayyan told her as he reached down and picked up her hand and held it to his chest. "You have a soul made out of stone and a heart made out of earth, one that despite mistreatment is able to grow." He said as he landed gently on the ground and his wings disappeared. "I want to show you something, will you follow me?"

" I have a feeling I don't have an option." She said with a shrug.

Rayyan sighed and let go of her hand before he walked farther into the woods making sure he stayed by her. They entered the town and Rayyan took on his human form as he walked with her into the fancier part of town.

Sam followed looking around at her surroundings.

They walked up to a very fancy restaurant called the Glowing Eel. Rayyan walked in through the front doors and up to the Host's counter. "Good evening Sir, miss." The man standing there greeted them. "Table for two or do you have a reservation?" He asked.
"No and no thank you. Would you kindly go tell May she has a Visitor?" He asked as he leaned against the Host's stand.
The host looked him up and down before he nodded and left farther into the building.

" May?" She asked looking at him confused.

"You'll see." He said as he smirked lightly at her. From the back of the building a small framed woman came out of the back of a room, wearing a chef's uniform. A massive smile quickly spread across her face as she poked her head out and dropped her hat on a small stool before she ran towards them. She ran over and jumped at Rayyan who caught her and wrapped her in a hug tightly he spun her around as he held her laughing. Rayyan stopped and set her on the ground. She was pale skinned and covered in freckles. Dazzling blue eyes shone outward and long pale blonde hair was tied up in a messy bun. "Uncle Ray!" She smiled as she held his arms. "It's so good to see you!" She smiled.
