Guardians (RP thread)

Sam frowned she wondered if Raymond was anything like her Ray. " we'll figure out a way to keep them with us and convince them to come back to the house."

"Sounds like a plan." Boom yawned.
"This way." Azeri said as he lead them down an alley and then down another. He then lead them to a hole in the wall.

Sam followed quietly then saw the hole in the wall." how long have y'all lived here?" She asked.

"As long as can remember." Azeri said in response as he slipped through. Boom shifted forms and slipped through before shifting back.

Sam followed them looking around taking in her surroundings.

They entered into a makeshift house, a hidden room from when the renovation was done on the building. Inside was a makeshift stove made out of bricks, red embers dying on the inside. Three sleeping spots where made on the floor out of tattered blankets and clothing. A small form slept on one of the piles, a large oversized jacket covering him like a blanket. They where fair skinned and frail looking with messy, shaggy brown hair. Azeri walked in and kneeled by him. "Orion." He whispered as he gently shook them.

Sam frowned at their condictions, they were much like hers in the past but it still made her upset that they had to live like this.

The small sleeping form didn't stir. "Orion, come on, get up." He said a little louder as he shook his younger brother. The small form still didn't stir. Azeri shook him harder. "Orion!?" He begged fear lacing his voice as panic set in.
Boom quickly walked over, pulling Azeri back as he kneeled down, feeling for a pulse. "He's still here, but barely. Sam, come help me." He said as he shifted form and reverted into the giant cat. Boom quickly laid along the backside of the small boy, letting the heat from his body warm him.

" Aiden do the same." Sam told her zorka. " do we have a way to make a fire?" She asked Azrie?"

Azeri just stood there shocked his mind not there as all he could think was panic and fear.
Aiden nodded and jumped off shifting into a larger form and laying by the boy's chest.

" Azrie!" Sam said grabing his shoulders. " he's cold don't worry we can wake him up. We need to slowly warm his body up. Do we have a way to make a fire?"

Azeri looked at her and blinked. "No, we ran out last night. Mondi is out working today so he can get firewood for the next few nights. I snuck out to try to steal things to pawn off. I shouldn't have left this morning." He said as he clutched his hair tightly in his hands. "I'm an idiot!" he said as he started to hit himself.
Boom lifted his head. "Aiden and I can warm him, do not worry." he said trying to calm Azeri.

" Azrie, it's okay." Sam grabbed his hands and held them in hers." It will be okay. Both of the zorma are fire zormas they can slowly heat Orion up."

Azeri just cried. "I shouldn't have left though. Mondi told me he'd be back tonight with firewood, but to stay with Orion until he got back. What if I killed him?"

" he'll be okay." She repeated.

Azeri just shook uncontrollably. Sam, take him away from here. I will let you know when we have Orion back.

Sam nodded. " hey come with me." She said leading him.away from his still brother. " where is Raymond?" She asked.

"I don't know, Mondi doesn't tell me and Orion where he works. I think he works for gangs, or drug lords, I don't know." he told her as he followed her, looking over his shoulder to his brother.

" do you know about what time he gets back?" She asked.

Azeri shook his head.

" well how about we go get some food and bring it back for Orion?" She suggested.

Azeri slowly nodded as he looked at the crack int he wall. "I know he really likes chicken..."

" okay let's go get some." She nodded.

Azeri nodded and followed her silently.

" what's your faviort snack?" Sam asked leading the way to a small grocery store.
