Guardians (RP thread)

" cheapest was Vodka." Sam told him.

The little Zorka shrugged and padded over to his lap where she sat down and sighed happily.

"I've got some Kinky?" Ajax offered.

Lei pushed the zorka off his lap and stood up. He picked the zorka up, still looking her over suspiciously, and set her down out in the hallway. He closed the door to his room.

She looked at him sad as he picked her up and put her in the hallway. She sighed softly as she curled into a ball and laid by his door.

" that will work." She said with a shrug.

Ajax walked over to the cabinet and opened it up pulling out a bottle before he opened the fridge and grabbed himself a cider. He walked back over the sam, sat down and cracked his drink, before downing it quickly. He pulled a second one out of his pocket. "You know what sucks?" He asked.

Lei got lost in a trance for a while, his hands starting to cover in ice, and he was quiet for a long time.

His Zorka laid outside his bedroom door waiting for him.

It was a few hours later when Lei opened the door again. He looked at his hands, freezing and numb. He melted the ice on them to water which dripped onto the carpet, but the cold of it didn't seem to bother him. He stepped over the Zorka and went downstairs.

She lifted her head as he walked over her and followed him down stairs.

" what?" She said sipping at her bottle.

Lei walked in on Ajax and Sam drinking. He moved to the living room and picked up some books from the shelf along the wall. He started collecting a few into a stack and leafed through one.

"As a blood demon, I can't get drunk." He sighed as he saw Lei pass by. "Hey Lei, what'cha looking for?" He asked. The small Zorka followed after Lei as well. She stopped by Ajax and blinked slowly at him.

Lei didn't answer, not wanting to interrupt Ajax and Sam's conversation and especially not looking towards Sam.

" that's a putty." Sam huffed seeing Lei.

Ajax went silent for a moment as he looked at the Zorka. "Lei, you can't ignore your Zorka, they are important." He told him. "They are the Guardians perminate companion."

Lei stared confusedly at the zorka. "What am I supposed to do with it then?" he asked

" they are your friend." Sam told him with Aiden still by her side. " they can shape shift to preform different tasks." She explained to Lei petting Aiden who was the size ifna cat at the moment.

Aiden purred happily and snuggled into her.

"Sam's right. Zorkas are meant to help test and train the power of the guardians." He said. "Your Zorka is of Air and her true form is that of a Dragon. She will be an asset to you." He explained.

" I love my Aiden." Sam added petting him happily. " he's been a great companion." She said looking at Aiden. " yes you have been an fantastic buddy. I don't know what I would do with out you ."

"Aiden is a Zorka a fire and his natural form is that of a fox." Ajax said looking to Sam.

" yup!" She nodded loving the fact she could own a fox.

Lei looked at his zorka. "Maybe another time." He said, and went leafing through the books again.

Sam frowned seeing how he was treating his Zorka. " come here girl." Sam called for her.
