Soul Takers RP!

Rett started to stitch the bite wound very gently, trying to make it as painless as possible.

"Like what?" James asked, still looking nervous

"Anything" she said biting her lip as her canines began to get sharper.

"I grew up in Belgium if that's anything..." James said, looking down at the ground.

Rett paused for a second to carefully wipe away some blood with a cloth. He stitched up the rest of it and tied it.

"Thanks Rett..." Adrian said and looked at James "really?"

Rett wiped some more of the blood away and put some salve on the wound. He then started to bandage it up.

"I was born in England but lived in Belgium since I was five" he said. "I moved back to England just a year ago".

"I see" she nodded "what are you James? A half breed of what?" She asked

"Just consider me human, I don't think I'll be staying here very long" he said.

"Hmm..." She narrowed her eyes.

He gave her a nervous look to tell her that he couldn't tell her if he wanted to.

Rett finished bandaging her shoulder. "Feel better?" he asked

"It will..." She nodded "see now James I'm gonna have a problem letting you leave now" she told him.

"Wouldn't letting me leave be better?" he asked a bit fearfully.

[went to go get my Halloween costume, I promise no more major poofs]

"I don't think you realize how much we really want to keep this place secrete" she said

"Well the people who sent me already know of this place, but I can keep a secret" he said, trying to assure her.

"Who sent you!" She growled standing up

James jumped back in his seat. "The board..." he said, then quickly regretted it.

"The board? The board of what James!?" Her hands were going to fists her eyes getting to a darker red.

Rett put a hand on her shoulder. "Calm down Adrian, you're freaking the poor boy out"

James was ready to get out his weapon, eyes wide. He'd never face a demon before and wasn't entirely sure if the rumour that they could control fire was true or not but if it was, he was dead.

Adrian closed here eyes "I'm burning up..." She muttered and sat down trying to calm herself, "listen, I'm trying to keep everyone is this household safe...."

Rett put his arm around her to help.

James sat down again, not realizing he had gotten up. He still looked fearfully at Adrian.

"So please tell me what the hell you are working for..." She said in a strained a voice "and trust me I can easily show you what he'll looks like"

"Don't bother, I already know..." he said. "I work for the Board of Reapers" he winced a little as he finally said it.

"You're a reaper!" She took in a deep breath "what do they want with us, we haven't done anything wrong"

"Nothing, you've done nothing wrong. I'm not exactly sure why I'm here but usually a reaper gets sent to a new location when there has been a considerable amount of humans dying there" he said.

Adrian lowered her eyes "plane crash..."
