"No. I'm just worried for that poor girl." He said. As she neared him she noticed a terrible smell in the air. One that smelled of decay.

"She noticed we were dead." She said, noticing the smell too

He chuckled. "Well you must remember that only a few are actually dead." He smiled at her. "I'm surprised that she warmed up to Colt since he is a demon and all."

"Yeah we are demons but we're like reformed demons." Charlie said. "Plus I don't see anyone holding a grudge against Colt."

He chuckled. "You've never seen him when he's gone a week without food." He gritted his teeth
as he felt a pain in his heart.

She chuckled a bit but it quickly turned to concern.

"I'm fine." Rylee smiled painfully.

Kage sits alone on the roof as usual, looking up at the night sky, "I hate the stars...blocking out the beauty that is the eternal darkness of space, ripping the silky black velvet of infinity" He sighs, the shadows seemingly weaving in and out of his fingers. "Who am I", He asks the night sky, "Who is Kage No Ai..."

Rosa sat on a porch swing, resting her head against the back of it as she breathed in the cool night air.

Rosa lifted her head, thinking she heard someone walking, but saw nothing

Kage shakes his head, his very body melting into shadow. He then forms behind Rosa with the whipping vortex of space-time announcing his arrival.

Rosa jumped a little in surprise as she whipped around. "Oh, hey" she greeted and relaxed

Kage raises a hand in greetings. The hand is completely covered in bloodied bandages.

Rosa hurried around the porch swing and held his arm gently, above where the bandages ended, "What happened?" She asked worriedly

Kage's voice seems to caress Rosa's ears with its silky deepness, "I'm fine, don't worry"

Hearing Kage's voice sent a small shiver up her spine, and she looked up at him, her dark green eyes filled with concern. "Nonsense," she said a bit softly before shaking her head a little. "Will you at least let me take a look at it?"

Kage sighs, holding out his arm but hiding his other under his cloak. His visible diamond colored eye meets hers, the other being hidden my shadow.

Colton walked out onto the porch not noticing Kage and Rosa. He whinned looking at the forest. He lifted his head and smelled the air. His eyes widened. A growled echoed from his throat and he shifted to his demon form. He launched himself from the porch steeps to the forest.

Rosa looks down quickly, feeling herself begin to blush, and begins to carefully unwrap his hand

Kage's had is covered in dried blood, what appear to be stab wounds litter his arm.

In the forest:
Scar pads along the forest. He knew he smelt this once before. A man who walked with the devil on a higher level. One even the devil himself would personally protect, The Lord of the Flies. It was here in the forest for once. Normally the smell was hidden in a field but tonight for some odd reason it roamed the forest. He would find him.

( Lord of the Flies!!)

"Oh Kage!" Rose gasped. "Follow me," She said and lead him gently by the arm

Kage's follows closely behind. The weapons of mass destruction looming just inches from the open hidden by nothing more than the cloak that surrounds him.

[GAH! Wave get back on here! I need to free Rylee!]

Scar stoped hearing two voices talking back and forth. One was a young woman's voice. The other wiser than it's years. The air held the scent of death.

Rose sat him down at the edge of the tub while she grabbed a damp cloth, "I'm so sorry if this'll hurt you at all," she said with a comforting smile. She gently dabbed his wounds, letting the blood drip into the tub.
