Soul Takers 2.0

Kage looks on, his eyes those of unshifting emotion.

Rose appeared to be completely focused on his arm and gauged about how deep the cuts might be. "How did you get these?" She asked as she gently wiped away a fleck of dried blood near one of the cuts.

Kage looks away from her, "I do not wish to disclose that information"

Rose huffed a little and gave him a small, almost knowing smile as her long hair fell over her shoulder and her bangs hung in front of her left eye, "Well alright then, did you want to let me know what is wrong with your other arm?"

[We're suppose to get more snow during the night and all day tomorrow. The buses wont be able to get onto the back roads. It'll even be difficult on the main roads. Ma said that even if they didn't cancel school she wasn't going to let me go. I'm also still sick.]

[Haha, point taken ]

"No!" Kage darts away from her, his over arm moving and causing a glass-shattering screech of metal.

Scar took a step closer to the pair. He stopped something was behind him. He turned and looked.

Rose's eyes widened in surprise, "What on earth was that!" she asked and looked at him curiously. "Kage, are you alright?"

"I'm fine!" Kage's voice booms out with power.

Scar dodged as a massive red paw slammed into the tree where he just was. He looked at the attacker. It's Blue and Green eye watching him. "Demon." The owner of the paw growled. His tail swished side to side.

Rose's eyes flashed a bright green, almost turning white, for a moment as though to warn him. "Well mister crabby pants, you sure don't sound like it" she said, her eyebrows knitted together as she wrung out the cloth. "Now sit back down here and let me finis, I won't ask you anything else, I promise," she said, glancing up at him.

Kage reluctantly sits back down, "...Why do you care for me" The question is sudden and blunt.

Rose rr-wet the cloth and wrung it out a little bit as she felt her cheeks turning a bit pink again, "It's just what I do, when people are hurt they need someone to be there to help them, weather they'll accept the help or not," she said softly

Rylee turned around. "Colton?" He called out confused.

Colton swung at Scar. Scar jumped back then ran pass Colton with Colton quickly following.

Kage nods and goes silent. "Do you truly wish to know what lies on my right arm?"

Rose begins to dry his arm as she glances up at him, her eyes soft again, "Only if you're alright with showing me," she said gently and cast her gaze back down at his arm that was now in her lap as she began to re bandage it.

Scar ran out of the forest and into the opening surrounding the house. Colton came crashing down onto him from the air. He sank his teeth into Scar's shoulder. Scar screamed out.

Kage's cloak is cast aside as he raises his right arm to the light. It shines a brilliant mixture of black and red before dimming and being revealed. Starting at Kage's shoulder is an intricate design embedded in none other than the extremely rare, midnight titanium. Blades run down the intricate arm, each 4 inches in length with a razor sharp point, positioned to face outwards of his body. At the very tip of the arm lies a contraption of both great elegance and power, a midnight titanium claw with fingertips of polished diamond. Blades run along every knuckle and joint, facing outwards.

*Rose sucked in a breath and let her fingertips hover over the blades and follow the design."Oh may," she breathed, her eyes shining with interest, and then understanding as she looked down at his half wrapped hand. "Kage, how long have you had your arm like this?"

Kage goes silent, a single, silent tear streaming down his face.
