Soul Takers 2.0

He fell to his knees and keep screaming. Shinik tried to run but the stitches held him still.

Glitch grinned and moved over to Shinik, biting his wing and infecting him with the patterns as well.

Both twitched on the ground. Rylee yawned and looked to the sky. "We're getting a storm."

Glitch looked up as well, then over at Scar.

Scar was stitched into the ground as well. "Oh well let's get this over with." Rylee said as a few rain drops fell on his face. He stood over the two men. His had started to glow green. He plunged his heart into Daguri's chest and pulled out his heart his soul being pulled out with it.

Glitch watched, turning back to her human form and standing not far from Scar. She still had a bit of a smirk on her face but there was some worry in her eyes.

Rylee's jaw unhinged. He dropped the heart into his open maw and the soul was sucked in as well. Rylee's hand then grabbed the other man's heart and did the same consuming the heart and the soul. Rylee's jaw snapped shut and he licked his lips the rain coming down much harder now. His eyes turned to Scar. He flicked his wrist and flies came from his sleeve and swarmed over to the two dead bodies of Daguri and Shinik. The flies started to feast on their bodies.

Glitch took a glance at Scar as she pulled her hood up against the rain. She turned over to Rylee. "We should get back to the house, Colton's still there and he might have some wounds from the fight."

"I've already taken care of him." Rylee said. He started to walk to scar his arm becoming green again.

"Remember that girl we found?" Glitch asked. "It's his sister."

"Oh, how interesting." Rylee growled.

She glared at Rylee, walking up between him and Scar

"What are you doing Glitch?" He asked.

"I'm not doing anything." She shrugged nonchalantly but there was a hint of anger in her eyes

"Stand aside." He said.

Kage walks through the blackened forest, stopping in a particularly well lit area, the odd, blood red moon shining above. He raises his claw skyward, the moonlight shining off it in such a way that it makes it seem that the claw has recently feasted on blood. Kage's face turns to one of deep despair, "I’ll die in a place where no one will see me, where no one will know, I will die leaving nothing behind. That's how I'll die."

"Why are you protecting him?" He growled.

From the claw down Kage starts to dissolve into shadow.

"That's a reason for only me to know." She said.
