Doom watched him go.

Scar gave a defeated laugh. "In all truth that's the nicest thing anyone has done for me since I was a child."

"Friend." Colton said. "You are save here. This house is protected by the better half of satan."

Kro pulled his bow over his shoulder and wandered through the forest, not knowing where to start looking for a demon. He decided to call Mahic'lito but after no reply he guessed she was too far away to hear it.

"Okay." She smiled and hugged him again.

"Better half of satan, comforting." She growled sarcastically. She jumped down from the bed and moved closer, smelling Colton's scent before sitting down as well.

A raven followed kro.

Scar hugged her back enjoying the nice contact.

"He's actually very nice." Colton said. "You could almost say he's mostly human."

"Do you know of the dark thing by the river?" Mahic asked.

Kro didn't pay much attention to the raven though he noticed it. It was going to get dark soon and now he was more concerned of finding shelter for the night.

Glitch kept hugging him, letting him decide when to stop.

Colton growled. "Yes." he hissed.

The raven's red eyes watched him closely.

Scar held it for a little longer. He than pulled away.

"What is it?" She asked.

He kept walking until it got dark before controlling a few trees to form into a shelter and sat down inside, looking back at the raven.

Glitch sat back and looked out at the forest. "Well it's getting late, we should get inside."

"he is worse than Satan!" Colton barked.

It watched him. Through it he could see the white skull of the dead bird which was covered in the darkness that came with Doom. He watched Kro.

Scar nodded. "Yeah." He said softly.

"So you're telling me something worse than Satan took my friend?" She pricked her ears in surprise.

Glitch got up and grabbed the towel. She walked inside and held the door open for him.

Kro looked up at the sky through the branches of his tree shelter before leaning back against the trunk and dozing off.

He nodded. "Yes."

Scar stood cringing and walked inside.

The raven keep watch.

Glitch closed the door behind him. "I'll go set up a room for you. Maybe sit down at the table or get something to eat." She gestured at the kitchen before running up the stairs.

Mahic'lito's feathers stood on end and she shook a little.

Kro fell fast asleep in a few minutes.

Scar nodded and went into the kitchen. He gingerly opened the fridge.

"You said your friend is out there? Do you want me to look for him?"

"If you could." Mahic said, standing up and offering to go along too.

Glitch cleaned out one of the mostly unused rooms on the second floor and straightened out the bed. She came back downstairs, leaning past Scar as she reached into the fridge to grab the milk.

He steeped out of the way so she could get into the fridge.

"Colton nodded. Let's go."

She left him to the fridge and moved to the counter, pouring a glass of milk. "Want one?" She asked

Mahic spread her wings out and moved for the window.

"Uh sure..." Scar said. He looked at the food in the fridge. He tilted his head.

She poured another glass for Scar and handed it to him, taking a sip of hers.

Mahic jumped out the window and spread her wings, flapping them so she gained altitude.

Colton just jumped off the roof and landed softly on the ground.

Scar took the glass and quickly drank it.

Mahic swooped around and floated down beside him.

"You're room's on the second floor, 3rd one on the right." She said

"Okay thanks!" Scar said. He closed the door to the fridge.

"Lead me to where your friend is." He said.

Glitch took a stool and sat down at the kitchen counter, taking another sip of the milk. "No problem."

"That's the thing I don't know where he is." She said

Scar went up the stairs to hi a room.

"Do you have anything that smells of him?" He asked.
