Soul Takers 2.0

The knife dug into the hand but it just tightened on him.

Scar looked down and left the kitchen. Ryan sighed.

He cursed at it and tried to hit it again. "What do you want with me?" He asked angrily.

Glitch watched Scar go and wished she knew of something to say to make him feel better.

Doom came out of the forest as the arm held him still. He was riding on the back of a living deer skeleton. It strode forward and stopped. "I want to increase my power."

Scar walked out onto the porch. He sat down on the steps.

"And how am I supposed to help you do that?" He asked.

Glitch followed him to the door but stayed inside, leaning against the wall by the door.

"Join me." Doom laughed. (Have him attack doom.)

[wow scary X3 it looks like it has huge eyes in the middle of it's face it kinda reminds of the game Wolf Soul that has these giant ghost horses with these really funny giant bulging eyes it looks just plain silly]

"Why would I do that?" He struggled against what held him and managed to free his arm just enough to throw the knife towards Doom.

(XD it's called an Irish elk. I think they are so neat.)

Doom just grinned as the knife stuck in his shoulder. "Because otherwise I'll rip your soul away."

Scar glanced back over at her he opened his mouth to talk but instead he gasped. Blood started to pour from his shoulder. He curled in and screamed.

Glitch noticed and pushed the door open quickly, running over to Scar. "Rylee get over here!" she yelled.

He was about to question whether or not Doom could actually rip his soul away but taking another look at the giant skeleton elk he was riding made his suppose the answer would be a 'yes'. He wanted to call Mahic'lito back to help him get free but he remembered it was better that she stayed safe and she wasn't really his to command anyway. He hated giving up so easily but knowing he was trapped he looked back up at Doom. "Fine."

"Good boy." Doom said. From the forest came masses. Dead beings of all types rose to the side of doom. Skeletons, bodies, trees,of all types showed themself to the dark of the moon. Doom grinned maniacally.

Rylee came running over. Scar shook in terror and pain. "What's happening?" He cried.

"You are acting as a body for Doom. What ever happens to him happens to you. Pain pleasure death. But because you are a demon even if a low ranking you can only be killed by having your heart cut out. So currently you've been stabbed." Voodoo said.

He looked around at the dead creatures, genuinely scared which was unusual for him. He wanted to run but glancing back at Doom he knew he wouldn't make it five paces without having his soul ripped out, or worse.

Glitch went back inside quickly to grab a towel and came back. She moved to sit beside Scar and pressed the towel to the stab wound, trying to stop the bleeding.

"H -how long will this last?" Scar asked.

"Until you or he finds a new vessel." Voodoo said.

The stag got down on its knees. Doom dismounted. He walked to Kro "what is your name?"

"Kro Hibernia." He replied, looking up at Doom and trying not to show how afraid he was.

Mahic'lito kept flying in the same direction until she saw a large house off to her left. She turned and flew over, silently landing on the roof with her large wings. Her wings were silent as an owl's and she had a 15 foot wingspan. Her soft feathers were white dotted with a few clumps, patches and spots of different shades of brown. Unlike normal griffins her face didn't end in a beak but a horse-shaped muzzle with carnivorous teeth inside, her claws, feathers and wings the only part of her that was bird-like. She looked more like a white panther with a horse-shaped head.

Glitch pressed on the wound and the bleeding started to slow down.

"Now where do you want your mark?" Doom asked.

Colton looked up. Something is on the roof."

Scar cringed in pain as doom pulled the knife out.

"A mark?" Kro asked

Mahic'lito sat down on the roof and tucked her wings in tightly so that they almost disappeared into her flanks completely. She craned her long neck and looked around, trying to find where she'd left Kro but nothing noticeable stuck out from the forest. Folding her ears back in uneasiness she walked over to the other side of the roof.

Glitch bit her lip in worry and kept wiping the blood off.

"Yes. One that claims you as mine." He said.

Scar shivered at the pain. He groaned. "So I take the abuse that Doom guy gets?" He asked.

[have you heard of the band Set It Off?]

"Wherever I guess." It didn't really matter to him, but he'd rather not get one at all. He just hoped he wouldn't put it somewhere obvious.

"I suppose so." Glitch said.

Scar looked down. Oh..." He said.

Doom walked over and slapped him on the right shoulder blade. A burning sensation filled his back.

Kro hissed in pain and held his shoulder, waiting for the pain to fade away.

"We'll make sure you'll be okay." She said.

Mahic'lito climbed down from the roof into a window on the top floor. She sniffed around the room curiously, knocking a few things over.

Colton looked up. He narrowed his eyes and went up stairs. He opened the door to the room.

Scar just looked away.

The pain remained and burned into his soul before it ended.

Mahic jumped when Colton came in and leaped up onto the top of a bookshelf, growling at him.

Kro tried not to cry out in pain and sighed in relief before it disappeared. He looked back at Doom, dreading the decision he made but he had no other choice.

Glitch set the towel aside and leaned over to hug him.

Colton jumped back. "Woah Girl." He said.

Doom smiled. "Now I need you to do me a favor." He said. "Find me a suitable vessel."

Scar's eyes widened as he slowly shifted and hugged her back.

Glitch smiled and rested her head on his shoulder for a moment before pulling back.

Mahic jumped from the bookshelf, causing it to fall over and she landed on the bed, watching Colton cautiously.

"A suitable vessel? Like what?" Kro asked.

Colton switched forms and sat in the door way.

Scar looked at her tears in his eyes. "Why'd you do that?" He asked.

"Someone that cant die. A demon." He said.

Kro nodded, thinking hard about it. He started walking through the forest, half wanting to run and not look back but he was sure Doom would find him. Find a demon...should be a piece of cake. He thought somewhat sarcastically.

"I just thought it would help." She said, a little worried by the tears.

Mahic growled defensively at him again, showing off her rows of sharp teeth. "Who're you?" She snapped.
