He took her to the house. "I left both Eli and Griffin in here along with Badger to rest and heal. I left to go get food and when I came back, all three were gone and Zoul was dead on the ground." Scotty said nodding to a lump under a set of old bed sheets.

Jules turned to the sheet and slowly knelt down on the floor, remembering how Zoul had helped them. "Thank you." she whispered softly. "I'm sorry you had to go like this."
