Rylee turns and shoots a orb of light. It strikes the beast.

Kro tried to cover her eyes from the light but it didn't work, she could still see it and it was blinding.

LS screams and a hole opens up in his chest.

Kro felt the pain too and clutched her chest. "Ry stop! Please..." She said, hearing LS's scream.

Charlotte went over to LS quickly.

Rylee looked to the group. He saw Ls bleeding on the ground. He gasped for air. He stopped and looked at them. He grumbled softly. The shadow hissed and quickly ran up Rylee's spine. It plunged a spear of shadow into Rylee's neck. Rylee screamed.

LS shook on the ground holding the opened hole in his gut. It was quickly growing back together."Get water for him!" Apollo snapped at Jinx and Artie. The two brothers nodded and shifted and ran off to find water.

Charlotte knew exactly where she could find water and ran back towards the ruined house. She found the door to the cellar and was glad to see only part of the cellar was caved in. She grabbed a bucket and filled it with water from the tap on the wall. She swiftly ran back to LS.

"Throw it on him." Apollo said as he helped stop the bleeding with his shirt. His back was covered in scars.

LS gasped for air.

The shadow then vanished from Rylee's shoulder as he swatted it away. Rylee pressed a paw to his neck where blood leaked between his fingers.

Charlotte swung the bucket towards LS, pouring the water on him and ready to run back to the cellar in case she had to do it again.

Kro stood up quickly, seeing through the creature's vision that Rylee was injured. "Ry you okay?" She called

The gills on the sides of his neck inhaled the water and his wound started to close up more quickly.

"I am fine, no simple creature could kill me. What is happening with the others?" He said.

"It's that creature LS said he was connected to, since you hit it he got hurt. I can see what it sees." Kro said, stumbling as she tried to walk towards Rylee.

He caught her from falling with one of his massive tree sized fingers. He held her up right. "Do not try to push yourself." He scolded softly.

Artie and Jinx came rushing back over. They both spat out gallons of water on to Ls. He inhaled deeply and the wound finished closing up. He lay there soaked in water his chest heaving. His eyes widened as a soft chuckle echoed across the open area. It was dark, and felt like death. "I never left, kiddies." The voice chuckled.

"It's fine I just can't see right now." Kro said, panicked for a moment when she was caught then realized it was just him. She raised her head hearing the voice. "Who or what is that?"

"That's the being we call Doom." Apollo hissed. He closed his one eye. "IT, can you find him?" Apollo asked.

"I think he's a little ways from the back of the house." Kro said.

A voice chuckled from Apollo. "You know better than to doubt me." It said. Apollo walked off. "Do not follow us." Apollo told the group.

All LS could see was Charlotte. He swallowed the lump in his throat.

Kro's eyes turned from black back to normal and she could see again. She sighed in relief and stood up.

Charlotte looked at LS. "You okay?" She asked.

He nodded. He started to cry.

She helped him sit up a bit and hugged him.

Ls' eyes widened. He hugged her back. She even smells like my Char... He thought as he cried harder.

She let him rest on her shoulder and looked to watch Rylee and the others.

Apollo came walking back. He hung his head. "He got away." He snarled.

"What did that thing want with us?" Charlotte asked

"Your destruction." Apollo said.

"What did we ever do to that thing?" Kro asked
