Guardians (RP thread)

"Why would Mt eye color make you blush?" She asked confused

"It's vibrant." he said. "I enjoy it." He said.

Her window slid open. Azriel stuck his head inside. "Hey you haven't seen Boo...m. Hey Kid, what's with the water works?" He asked.

" It's average." Sam corrected him.

"No, it's not. There is a spark of fire inside." he said. "A beautiful fire."

Fallon doesn't hear Azriel.

Azriel climbs into her room and taps her shoulder.

She doesn't respond. She was once again in her own world.

" I'm very average. " she mumbled.

"No. You aren't." Rayyan smiled. "Mind if I show you something?" He asked.

Azriel sits by her bed side. "Hey Kid...." he said shaking her.

Fallon was lost in her memories, so when she saw Azriel, she scrambles back.

" Sure. " Sam nodded.

"I'll be back with her." he said. Rayyan took her arm and walked her out.

"Hey, squirt, it's okay, it's just me." He said reaching toward her.

She trembles, a look of absolute terror on her face. When she sees him reaching for her, she shuts her eyes, flinching away from him.

"Hey, it's okay." He said he petted her hair gently.

She shrinks away from him, still trembling.

Sam looked at him curiously. " Do the wings ever get in your way?"

Ray chuckled. "No...I've learned get use to having they. It's like having a second pair of arms that you can use to fly with." he smiled. He walked with her up to the tree line and then stopped. He looked at her. "Tell me, why do you act like this?" He said.

Azriel didn't really know what to do. He huffed and placed his chin on the end of her bed and sat on the floor. He looked sort of like a dog like that.

" Act like what? " Sam asked looking around.

"Defiant." He said. She saw two small birds flying over head, circling one and other.

" Because I needed to be to survive. " Sam answered honestly.

"You may have had to live like that, but you don't have to survive anymore, you can live without fear." He said. "Defiance will only cause you more pain." he said.

" Like you would know anything about my pain." Sam snapped pushing away from him. " I'm the worst person to be chose as the Guardian of earth because I could care less about saving these people. They could all burn in hell for all I care."

"You're right I don't know your pain. But I know what this downward look on life brings to others. It causes people to become Fia. The last time A guardian of earth didn't care it was the dark ages." He said.

" Guess you really should find yourself a new guardian. " Sam said walking away from him.

"That's not how it works. You either born a guardian or not." He said. "Let me ask you this, If i offered you one whole day, would you take it."
