Guardians (RP thread)

" Whole day of what?" Sam asked.

"A whole day of love." he said offering her his hand. "Would you take it?"

" You can't just offer love." Sam told him shaking her head. " love is more complex."

"So how do you define love?" He asked walking up to her. "Do you define it as breaking rule number one and banging the first cute guardian you see?" He asked. "Or is it drinking down a whole bottle of butterscotch schnops?" He asked teasing her gently.

" neither. " She said backing away from him. " neither of those are love just me wanting to feel better about myself. "

"So define love for me." he said softly.

" I don't know." Sam said looking down at her feet. " I don't know what true love is. I've never experienced it."

"Because you've only ever known forced love and pain." He said. "And In fact I do know your pain. I know the memories of everyone alive." He gently lifted her head so she was to look at him. "I'll show you what real love is." He said. He took her and wrapped her in a hug.

Sam pushed him away. " You haven't even known me a day and you say you can show me real love bull shit."

"He sighs. "Sam, I want to get to know you better. I want to help you love." He said softly.

Sam scoffed. " That's not going to happen. "

"It wont if you keep pushing people away." He said.

" maybe that's why I keep pushing people away? Ever thought of that?" Sam asked stumbling backwards and falling to her back side.

Rayyan walked up next to her and sat down by her. "I did, but we all have our fears we need to concur."

" I'm not afraid of anything. " Sam snapped getting to her feet.

"If you aren't afraid, why wont you try one day?" He asked.

" Because. I rather fin love myself and not offered to me like a cheap whore." Sam snapped.

"So said I'm offering? I said a day of love. I never said you had to accept the love." He said.

" Then that isn't love." Sam told him.

"No it is. If a dog, loves it's owner for coming home but the owner just tells them down, Was the dog never in love?" He asks.

" And all those men trying to force themselves on me saying the same DaMN thing. That they want to show me love." Sam snapped at him.

Rayyan sighed. "Well you have a point." He stood. "You wanna go get something to eat? I've had Ajax's cooking before...it's...not the best." He smirked. "He's got a lot of recipes but not a lot of flavor. Would you mind joining me?" He asked offering her a hand.

" He cooks better then I can." Sam mumbled not looking at Rayyan directly. " I'm not suppose to leave. Ajax is mad at me for trying to run away multiple times."

"You'll be with me. He's more worried about you running into a Demon you can't handle." he said. "I'll even make sure he knows I'm out with you and not Azriel or Orrik or some other goof." He chuckled.

" okay." She mumbled.
