Guardians (RP thread)

Eli planted himself firmly and slowed his breathing. He imagined the earth jutting up underneath him and the breeze transforming into a fierce wind. He thought of the water in the air gathering together to form a single droplet. He then opened his eyes and he first felt the earth underneath him begin to rise and the wind start to pick up. However the water droplet refused to form.

"Guardians of hell are naturally aggressive. If something wont form, force it too." Azriel said.

Eli's eyes narrowed and he felt himself mentally taking the individual pieces of hydrogen and oxygen and pushing them together with all the strength he could. Soon not only did the droplet form, it morphed into a floating ball of water kept from falling by the now aggressive wind. "I think I got it"

"Good., now draw the elements into your body and use them to work with fire."

" no. But they would if it ever happened." Sam said. " Stop okay ray. I know what you are trying to do. Just stop okay."

The water visibly moved into Eli where as the other elements he could already feel inside gaining power with every second

Azriel smiled and watched.

"I just want to see you safe." He said.

" I am safe." She said.

"You think that now but as your power grows more demons will come for you." he said. "What if Fia attacks you again?" He said.

Eli pulled a wall of rock around him as he worked with the elements preferring not to be watched while he attempted to create the obsidian skin for the first time. He continued within his barrier to bring a slight layer of earth as fine as dust around him and used it to help change the makeup of his own skin. He then used the power of fire to heat his blood and the power of water to spread the heat through the rest of his body and when he felt ready he then exerted pressure both on the outside and inside of himself with the power of the air. He saw the black stone starting to form and he continued to focus on creating the shell of obsidian that would be his new skin. When he had finished he brought the earth wall down

Azriel smiled.

"Nice for my first try right?" Eli asked while maintaining it

"Very nice." he said. "Most wouldn't get it on the first try."

"Well I improvised a bit and used my own way of creating it. Instead of just changing the makeup of my skin I used a thin layer of dust on top of it and I used water to make the heat flow through my body quicker once my blood heated up. As for the final step I used pressure from both inside and outside my body to press it into the solid obsidian form." Eli replied

"Interesting take." he said. "I applaud you."

Eli slowly released the pressure and allowed his skin to return to normal and had the wind carry the dust off of his skin. He then did the process over again and it worked faster. "Using force to make the elements do what I want really makes it easy for me, especially when I already had slight control by imagining what I wanted it to do."

"Good for you kid. You're a step ahead." Azriel chuckled.

" I know what to expect."

"Thanks for helping me Azriel." Eli said

"Well it is my job." Azriel said.

"No, you don't." Rayyan said.

"Well I'm not used to anyone giving a damn and helping others." Eli replied, "Even when it is their job"

"So, you're not a normal human. If I leave you alone, bad shit will happen." He chuckled.

Eli laughed at that, "Hey what's the worst that could happen? I set the whole world on fire?"

"Uh...more like relase Satan from hell and start rapture." He said flatly.

"I wasn't being literal, lighten up" Eli said
