Guardians (RP thread)

"Don't act like that." Ajax said. "No, go get cleaned up and I will answer any questions you have." He said.

"Same with you, Lei."

Sam shook her head her cheek had already stopped bleeding.

"Just get it cleaned." Ajax said. "You don't have to bandage it but please, get it properly cleaned." He said.

" I can clean it myself back at my place." She told him.

Ajax sighed heavily. "Fine..." He said. "Come on then, let's go home." he said.

Sam left him walking back to her hut.

Ajax followed her. "Don't you want answers?" He asked.

" Like you're going to answer them." She said shrugging.

"I told you I would." Ajax said. "I keep my promises." He said.

" don't believe you." She told him.

"Try me." he said standing in front of her. "Now that we aren't in public I'll answer any question you want." he said.

" Who is she and how does she know about dragon born?" She asked bluntly.

"She is my mother." Ajax said. "She knows about Dragkins because before she was put intothe hospital she helped me understand my abilities. Then she was cursed." He said.

" Cursed how?" She asked.

"Demons of Blood and Demons of Time have been at war with one and other forever. My mother is actually only 45 years old..." Ajax said softly. "To get back at my father, some Demons of Time aged her up rapidly, making her equivalent to 85 years old."

Sam just stood there listening.

"She doesn't remember anything. She barely remembers bow to read Dragon script...she doesn't even remember me." He said. "I would have been fine with that but those damned Time Demons took it too far. Every so often my mother see's my for what I am...She see's my demon form." She said.

" And tries to kill you. What a loving mother." She said sarcastically.

"It is not her fault. She is fearful...she's human." He said defensively.

" What evee5. It's your messed up life not mine." She shrugged.

Ajax sighed. "I should have known you didn't have a heart." he said.

Sam stooped her back was to him but he could see her tense up. She did have a heart. But through all the horrible things she had to experience she learned to guard it very well. " and you still think I'm the perfect guardian for the earth?" She said looking over her shoulder at him.

"I never said you where perfect. I don't chose. if I could pick, I'd pick anyone other than you!" He said. "All I said was accept your fate." Ajax said.
