Her eyes softened and she placed her hands on either side of his face, the air warmed on her hands. "Oh Kyudo, what's happened to you?"

He jumps slightly, his eyes softening, "H-Hikari?" For a moment he calmed down, searching her eyes for his long lost love.

The woman smiled softly, "Hello darling" she whispered

He fell to his knees, bloodied tears streaming down his face, "W-Where did you go, you promised me you'd always be there when I returned." His body shook slightly but deep inside a battle started between the corruption and his true energy.

She kneeled beside him, "Shh, shhh, I still don't remember yet, but I'm here now." She looked down at her hands and sighed inwardly. Gently, she touched her forehead against his

The internal conflict began to pain him but he payed no mind, simply closing his eyes and leaning into her, flashes of red and blue visible to him in the darkness.

The air and wind the made her up warmed to act as a comfort to Kyudo. She wrapped her arms around him and spoke gentle, ancient words into his ear

His eyes widened as he shook his head, "Back then...Did you lie to me..." He looks up at her, "You weren't the angel at all were you."

"What do you mean Kyudo?" She asked softly

"Something came to me earlier today...It claimed that I was an angel but...our daughter is a Nephalem so that can't be possible unless..." He looked up at her, searching her eyes yet again.

She looked to the floor, thinking, trying hard to remember. "Kirin is a demon, that I know, but whether I was one or not..." she closed her eyes, still trying to remember. "I'm sorry, I can't remember, but..." she looked to him again and gently traced the side of his face with her fingers. "I wouldn't be surprised if you were indeed the angel before now"

He leans into her, choking up as he began to cry again, the battle taking over his mind and starting to cause immense pain, causing him to twitch and suddenly gasp for breathe as the sapphire energy attacked the corrupted bit.

"Just breath, it'll be alright" she cooed. She rested her fingers against his temples, the air cooling now to try and settle some of the pain

"P-Please, don't let me-" Suddenly the sapphire energy fires off a final blast, obliterating the corrupted energy though this caused blood to explode out of his mouth and and nose, blood even turning his eyes completely red as he slumped over, "D-Die" He quickly lost consciousness as the corrupted energy exited his body and attacked him, leaving several gashes in his body before disappearing.

Her eyes saddened. The air began to dispel itself from her form, causing her to disappear. The wind circled Kyudo and carefully lifted him before resting him on the bed. "Hold on, please, I'll be back soon.." the air whispered before blasting out of the window.

A little while later the very same wind thrust the windows open that lead into Rei's room and tumbled in

Rei sat quietly, reading a book of hers before shielding herself from the wind, "W-What the"

"Rei" the wind called, "Please come with me, it's your father" The woman didn't show herself, she wouldn't have been able to bare it

Rei's eyes widened with a bit of defiance but nonetheless she nods and launches herself out the window, taking flight, "Where to?"

"The tower in the distance" the wind explained, blowing carefully around her to keep her going fast and steady

She nods and thrust her wings, darting off at an insane speed before reaching the tower and heading for his presence and landing, "J-Jesus w-what happened"

"His energy. It's a long, complicated story, but it attacked him, he's very weak and I can't do anything to save him" she sighed as the wind blew gently over his chest. "I'm here, and I've brought help, it'll be alright, just you wait"

He didn't respond in the slightest.

Rei nods, "Y-Yeah" She holds out her hands, scanning the damage as her eyes widen, "H-His life force has practically ripped itself apart, I-I don't know how to help this."

"Could... Could you help me get him to the mansion? Perhaps someone there will be able to help"

Amber had watched Rei fly off and cautiously peeked in the window

She shook her head, "I'll start by attempting to mend his energy back together, once that is done it should begin to try and heal him." Her hands start to glow as she goes to work, "There is no telling how long this will take or if it will work."

"That's alright, just do your best and don't rush yourself"


Amber watched quietly, seeing the woman's soul in the wind
