Guardians (RP thread)

"Orikk is in Eden being healed. Az is in bad condition. I stabilized him but he really needs to go to hell to heal." Sam informed him.

Eli sighed, "Guess you've been waiting for me then, right?"

(Happy New Year to you as well )

" I would have done it but I can't get past the demons. Only guardians of hell can." Sam said softly. " Ajax is badly hurt as well."

Ajax had fallen asleep on the dinning chair he was sitting on. He didn't even wake when Eli walked in. Azriel was still out on the couch.

"I understand. Its best that we rest up and then we can focus on helping them" Eli replied. "Um..." Eli realized that Sam never let go of him, but he didn't say anything

Sam quickly let go of him blushing a bit. " Sorry I just learned how to hear souls. And it's good to hear you'rs and Lei's." She said looking around. " So the old guardian of hell helped y'all out?"

Eli looked over to the side slightly and laughed nervously, "Yeah... Azriel's predecessor helped us escape purgatory. And... It's good to see you again Sam." He took a moment to breathe and glanced at Sam with a smile, "I'm glad you're okay."

Ajax leaned a little too far in his sleep and fell over and out of the chair. He hit the floor and groaned but kept his eyes closed. "How about I just die here." he sighed.

"Barely." She told him looking at Azriel. It got really intense up here for a while." Sam told him. " I was pretty much the only one standing ground. Azriel almost killed Rayyan and Orikk. And bloodied Ajax up good. Poor boomer got really hurt. I haven't seen him since he was injured. It was bad. Fallow was no where to be seen. So all of it fell on me."

"I'm sorry it turned out that way. I tried to go at it from a different angle but it didn't work and all of the work fell on you. At least Lei and I made it back... We won't let you just take the next fight on alone. We'll be here, I promise." Eli replied

Sam sighed scooping Ajax off the floor and helping him into the recliner so he wouldn't fall our of it. " I know what you guys were doing I saw most of it."

"Well in all honesty I followed Lei there. It wasn't my original plan, but... It's in the past now. I hope we at least managed to weaken her grip on Az for you." Eli replied. "Anyway... How are you holding up?"

" I'm okay." She said checking on Azriel.

He was still silent. Azriel just lay still in sleep.

" Eli you really need to take him to hell so he can heal properly." Sam said looking up from Azriel looking very concerned and worried for the guardian. " I have things handled here. Take him and come back. Once he's healed he'll probably come looking for us."

Eli shook his head, "Many demons have been waiting for him to be in weakened state so they could possibly stand a chance against him. To attempt killing him. Until he's able to fully defend himself I'll have to stay in Hell with him."

" we need you here though... orrik can't keep the barrier up. And Ajax is struggling to do that." Sam sighed shaking her head.

"I know we're stuck in a difficult situation and as soon as I can come back I will. But I can't just leave him on his own there and I'm the only one that can go there with him..." Eli replied with a sigh

" I could try healing him here." Sam suggested.

"You could, but he'll heal faster there." Eli said. "And that would be for the best, we need as many guardians in fighting shape as we can."

" but that would leave me alone to protect the house." Sam told him bluntly.

"Well you would have the others, don't forget I brought Lei back with me. And as soon as Az is healed up enough to protect himself I'll be back." Eli replied softly. "Ill be back as soon as possible. You can trust me Sam, and please give the others a chance. We're all still learning."

" its not lei i don't trust." Sam mumbled.

Eli sighed, "You have to give Fal a chance too. I know she wasn't there to help when you needed it last time, but she is a guardian in training just like the rest of us. Just give her one more shot, okay?"

" haven't you noticed every time shit hits the fan she disappears?" Sam questioned. "How are we supposed to work together when people just keep disappearing."
