" just curious." Sam said remembering that she couldn't read fallows mind. Every one else's that night she could. So why not hers.

"The Lion is actually best with earth. The eagle fire and air is human." He said.  "Now to access you oxen form you have to relinquish you ideals."

"Anywho kid, you ready?" Azriel asked.

"Not exactly sure what those ideals are..." Lei sat down in the grass and tried to focus on what Orrik told him

"Just forget everything. Forget what happened in the past few days, and let you mind free."

" yeah. I'm ready." She nodded.

"Alright, let's go then." He said as he lead her outside of the house and to a separate training area.

" okay." Sam didn't make any small talk as the left.

"You okay Sam?" Azriel asked as they got to the training grounds.

" yeah." She nodded trying to shake the thoughts out of her head.

"Alright, so the easiest way to summon the Lion from inside of you is to take an emotion and let it control you."

" really?" Sam asked. " that sounds to easy."

"That is only the first step." Azriel laughed. "Try it." He said.

(I got to go again. Gotta go pick up my sisters and then I'm heading home!) I should be back at 9-10 central time?)

" what type of emotion should I use?" She asked.

( that's exiting. I'm on my break from school too.)

"So try to meditate?" Lei asked.

"Yes." Orrik said. "The Ox likes to take things slow and analysis." He said.

"Whatever emotion is the most strong for you. For me, it is often anger, and fear." Azriel said.

Sam thought a bit unsure what her most strongest emotion was for her. " I would say anger but I'm not angry any more."

"Then you need to find a new emotion. And sometimes that emotion can change from one to another. Sometimes grief will be your strongest, or joy or sadness." He said. "The lion is the hardest of the forms to control because it is driven purely on emotions. If even one emotion gets out of hand you are at risk for being pulled into transformation and getting stuck in a cascade of emotions as the lion rampages or whatever they choose to do. You have seen that happen with me. Once you learn to tame the lion, you can have it linked to a specific emotion but that is also very difficult to do because you have to constantly be keeping the lion and that emotion in connection. I am not good at this so my emotions rule over me more often than not." Azriel said. "Think of the Lion as an extension of the soul of hell. It wants and loves just like we do."

" so what happened the other day was your Lion soul form?" Sam asked not sure she could do it.

"Yes that is what happened." He said gently.

Sam shook her head. " I don't want my emotions to control me."

"Then be better than me." Azriel said. "Control your emotions just enough."

" I don't want to become a monster no offence Azriel. But you were scary as hell and I was scared I was going yo fail at helping you." She confessed.

Azriel smiled and walked over to her and put a hand on her shoulder. "No offense taken. I know I am a monster, I am a guardian of hell after all." He teased. "But I believe that you will be able to control the emotions much more easily than I ever could, especially with how much you have matured since we first met." He said. "If you want to take it slow, or one step at a Time instead of going straight to full on transformation, let's start with growing an element of the form. First find a memory, with strong emotions, try for something happy." He said.

" so make a tree into a lion form?" She asked trying to confirm what he told her.

"No not really. I mean pull at aspects of the beast form. Teeth, tails, powers that sort of things. Here, let me show you something." Azriel said as he shrunk down, his skin became slightly red in color tones, he shrunk in size and went from 7 feet to 5 foot 5 inches. His hair dropped around his shoulders instead of it spiked like normal. The horns disappeared and his ears became normal. A lot of the muscle in his body disappeared leaving the husk of a basic man. "My name is Azriel Gilbert Stewart." He said.
