She listened, her gaze sad. “You stopped the pain for him. You made it so he wasn’t suffering anymore.” She said softly.

"B-But I still killed him..." He shook. "I murdered my own family." He said.

Not knowing what to say, she held him tightly. “Don’t say that . . . “ Then she took his face in her hands to make him look at her. “Hey, it’s going to be okay. Your brother is in a better place now . . . He wouldn’t want you to agonize over this.”

"I just hope your right." He said crying.

“He wouldn’t want you to be so sad.” She said softly.

Jonas nodded but kept on crying.

She kissed his forehead gently and then grabbed his shirt from the bed. She slipped it over him and then grabbed the small package Tad had thrown on the bed and tossed it into the nightstand’s drawer, feeling a bit embarrassed when she saw it. Then she guided Jonas to the bed so he could sit, and she sat down with him and pulled his head into her lap so he could lay down.

Jonas laid in her lap crying. After about 15 minuets, he had cried himself to sleep.

She softly stroked his hair until he had fallen asleep. “My sweet, sweet Jonas . . . “ she murmured.

A knock came on the door.

She carefully slid out from under him and went over to the door, opening it.

Jack was standing there. "How is he?" He asked.

WYay!!!! How did you do?)

“He’s really sad and he feels guilty.” She said lowly, stepped out of the room and closing the door so they wouldn’t wake Jonas.

Not sure, Still have to wait a bit with some of them I scored 80% on my Bio final though!)

"I'm sure he does." He said. "How are you feeling?" He asked.

I should score a B in my Bio, a C+/B- in my Psych, and I'm praying that I get a C in Chem...)

“Tired and overwhelmed, honestly.”

"I'm sure, want some Tea? Or I have hot cocoa." Jack said.

She gave a small smile. “Hot cocoa sounds great right now.”

He smiled and nodded and walked over to the bar and got a glass of milk, sticking it into the microwave. "Anything you want to talk about?" Jack asked

She walked over to the bar and slid up on a stool. “I don’t know . . . “

He made the hot cocoa and handed it to her. "You can say anything, you're safe here." He said.

She took the mug and took a small delicate sip. “I can’t believe all the crap that happened today. . .”

"It was a lot...yes.."

She hesitated. “In that moment in the alley . . . before Jonas came . . . I thought that bastard was going to win. I felt so helpless . . . dammit, I hate being helpless. I couldn’t do anything then, and I can’t do anything when Jonas is feeling so bad.”

"And what are you suppose to do?" Jack asked. "You aren't weak Skylar, but there are a lot of other people out there who are stronger." He said. "And also what could you even do to help Jonas, it's not like you can take his memories away." Jack said gently.
