Scar shook his head. "No most of them hate me because I get away with a lot of things I shouldn't." He said.

" what?" She looked up at him. " he likes me too?"

" but you brought me home..." cheza said looking at him with sad eyes.

Tadoda blinked slowly a few times before he noticed what he said. "I, I honestly thought you knew." He said.

"I did that because I wanted to. Because you deserve to be happy Cheza." Scar told her.

" no I didn't know. I figured he just tolerated me." Gabby said honestly.


Cheza looked at him a little confused. " happy?"

"Nah there is a way he looks at you that he doesn't look at others. I know he's got a stone hard face but it cracks every now and then." He smirked. "And you might just be the wedge to break him."

"Yeah happy Cheza, you know smiling, laughing, feeling safe." Scar said.

" you really think so?" Gabby looked astonished.

" I've never been happy." Cheza said truthfully.

"Well you can be now." Scar said. "I'll find a way to make you happy."

"Yeah I do. The two of you get along great, and you two remind me of his father and me when we were kids." Tad smiled.

" we did grow up together." Gabby responded.

" I'll learn. " she answered him.

"Yeah and in clans a lot of times that is how relationships form." He said. "Few leave or find someone outside of the clan to be with." Tadoda looked at Scar.
"Good. I'm glad." He said. "You hungry for dinner?" He said.
The leader came out and took his place at the announcement aread.

" that's true. " gabby agreed.

" no." Cheza shook her head. " she was use to how much food they ate.

"Okay." Scar said as he stood getting ready to listen to the leader.
"Today has been eventful as most of you know." The leader said to the gathering clan. "And I have decided who will be coming with me to the meeting of the Clans tonight. But first there is something I must address, the child that has been brought to the clan from the Ruined World. I have thought long about this and decided that the child will stay within the clan but they must learn our ways. Because of this reason her rescuer is who I have chosen as her mentor. Stoneheart, you will be in charge of the girls health and Wellness." He said. "She is now known as Of Stone."

"Secondly The following will be joining me for the meeting tonight." He started to list off warriors, Tadoda of course being listed. "Hawkfeather and Stoneheart." He listed finally. "Stoneheart meet with me after the meeting." He said. "Clan is dismissed." He said as he retreated into his office that was connected to his house.
A murmur waved over the group. "This will be the first meeting of the clans, Stoneheart has attended since before, you know the accident." A pair of mother's whispered to each other.

" stoneheart? Is that you?" Cheza asked looking at stone.

" yes!" Gabby said exited. She was going to a clan meeting.

Scar sighed nodding and looked at Cheza. "I have to go again for a bit but stay with Tadoda." He said. He lead her over to Gabby and Tad. "Will you two watch Cheza until I am done?" He asked.

" we will watch her. But then we all have to go to the clan meeting." Gabby told him.

"That's fine. I will leave her with Lindsey for the night." Scar said as he nodded and left to speak with the leader in private.
"Tadoda smiled at Cheza. "Hello Cheza, did you have a good day?" He asked.

" it's been new." She answered. Looking at Tadoda and looked confused at Gabby who she hasn't met before.

" I'm Gabriel some call me Gabby. I'm also known as hawkfeather." She introduced herself.

"I'm sure it has been a lot for you today. Yes, Cheza, this is one of Scars and my friends, Gabby. I think you will like her." He said.

" Hi." Cheza waved shyly at her. " lot of mad looks..." she mumbled looking at her lap. " they mad I here?"

" they will get over themselves. " gabby said sitting next to the girl. " I'm glad you're here. And I bet tadoda and Lindsey are too."

"I certainly, am happy you are here with us." Tadoda smiled.

" really?" Cheza little up.

"Yes, I always think it's a good thing to have new blood brought in." He explained.

" I'm not too old to train?" She asked a bit concerned.

"No one is too old to learn." He laughed.
