Ethereal and Indelicate (Zombie and Superhero rp)

“I think I’ll go out scavenging today if there aren’t too many zombies out in the streets outside the Haven. Is there anything you need that I should look for?” Veli asked

" no." She shook her head.

“Well I’ll keep a lookout for medical supplies or an old pharmacy anyway.” Veli screwed the broken phone back into its place on the wall and grabbed his bag as he left. “Take care of yourself.” He said when he looked back at her

"I'm sure we'll find better stuff out there. not as many people out there." Wolf said. 'Personally I would love to go up to the Montana area. It's nice there." WOlf sighed. The alarms sounded over the base and people resting, working and everything in between shot up. Wolf pricked his ears. "What now?"

Veli looked up and called back to Nyla. “What are those alarms for?” he asked

Akaru sat up. “Someone must’ve seen something outside the walls.” he worried it was the Count.

Groups of people ran outside as Wolf and Akaru exited the building. "What's going on Cutter?" One of the men called up.
"In the distance, a large zombie was spotted by the west two guard towers."

"Large zombie? Like a giant? How big is it?" Akaru asked, walking up the steps to where the guards stood.

Cutter handed over the binoculars and pointed. A large mass, of unknown looks or distintcions was slowly moving toward them. "Most likely it's a creation of Counts." He said. "Get some fighters ready!" He called to the gathered people.
Wolf nodded and dashed off.

"How in the..." Akaru stared through the binoculars. "How thick is its skin? I hope bullets will at least be effective."

"If you look on your left of it's head, see that seam, I think it's a bunch of bodies put together." Cutter said.

Akaru felt a shiver up his spine. "Mashed a bunch of bodies together like frankenstein's monster..." He'd worked with Nyla in the Med-bay for a long time but the appearance of body parts sewn together made his stomach turn.

"It's moving slow so at least we have time to get together and get prepared." He said.

"I guess I'll get things set up in the Med-bay in case of injuries. Do you think the wall will hold it? Even then it could probably throw things over the wall. Or unless you need me to fight here with you?" Akaru rambled fearfully.

Cutter placed a hand on his shoulder. "Go to Med-bay. Help get stuff ready. We should be fine up here. Wolf's getting Armored up and I can go directly to the thing and fight it without fear of being bit." Cutter said.

“Wolf’s going to be fighting that thing?” Akaru muttered as he headed off, not sure if Cutter heard him.

Cutter looked at him. "Don't worry Akaru, Wolf will be fine." He said.

Akaru ran into the medbay. “Nyla?” he asked, finding her working on the vaccine. He washed his hands and started pulling out gurneys just in case.

" something outside the wall." She said looking up from her work and seeing Akaru. " what's outside?" She asked seeing what he was doing and started to help.

"Big ass zombie. Like 20-30 feet tall I think." Akaru replied, pulling back all the curtains to leave the medbay open with enough room to move through.

" Do they need me?" She asked.

"No, Cutter just wants us to be ready in the case of injuries." Akaru replied.

" I can slow it down and I can be healing on the field." She told him.

"Well you can go out and ask Cutter," he said. "But I think he's busy suiting up for the fight."

" finish up here I'll be back." Nyla told him running yo see if they needed her. " Cutter!" She shouted climbing up to the guard tower he's in.

'Karu got out the first aid kids and when everything was set out and ready he stood by the door, leaning on the frame and tapping his foot nervously.
