Karu smiled a little into the kiss, brushing brightly and breathing a sigh too.

Wolf smiled back, he bit Karu's lip gently.

Karu kissed him another moment before pulling away, smiling at Wolf. He then looked over at the others. "So is the Haven ours again?"

"Aye." Colton said.

"I think that calls for a celebration." Wolf grinned licking Karu's neck. "...wait if we won, why am I still human?" He asked.

"Hoss might be still around..." Karu said a little uneasily

"I ran into him. He was following me. His power doesn't work on me. Could it because I've been working on a immunity to Sierra'S singing."

" It's a new moon tonight." Nyla answered wolf's question still looking at Atlas for a response.

"That makes sense. It is going to get dark in a couple hours too..." Karu nodded, looking at Wolf.

"I hope you're right..." Wolf said. "And if it is a new moon, then We've got some time." he blushed to Karu.

"It is possible." Atlas said. But he uses powers through sight."

"I haven't seen my room in forever. Come on, and we can see about getting a mattress for your room." Karu said, taking Wolf by the hand and heading down the hall.

Wolf followed him happily.

Karu let go of his hand when they got to the room and grabbed the extra mattress that was leaning against the far wall. "Will this do?" He asked

"it will be plenty." Wolf grinned.

"Let's take it to your room then." Karu started to drag the mattress down the hall to Wolf's room

"I was look right at him. I almost did what he said but 5 hen I snapped out of it. Could it because I changed? I have purple eyes now. And my hair isn't a mouse brown but a bright blond now." Nyla said " I lies to him and said I was immune because I didn't know how to explain it. He got pissed I left. "

Wolf helps him bring it into his room. He set it on the ground. "That's fine." He smiled.

"It could be." Atlas said. "But if The puppet master knows of you then he will tell The Count and we don't want that."

" What would he want with me?" Nyla asked.

"Count can copy anyone's abilities by draining them of half their blood. Sadly he got to me and has my abilities. He'd probably want yours so he would be immune to your own powers." Atlas said.

Karu put Wolf's blankets on top of the mattress before sitting down. "It's good to be back home." He gave a sigh of relief then looked up at Wolf.

" I don't see how anyone could be Immune. I take life energy or give life energy. If I don't give it to someone I keep it for myself." Nyla whispered.

"Yeah it is." Wolf said sitting next to him. "It feels so much safer here." he said smiling.

"We never know." Atlas said. "Count's not normal." He said.

Karu leaned on Wolf a bit
