" it's more the fact my opinions and personality just clashes with most girls. As you can tell I'm not over the top girly and I'm more reserved with what I wear." Kayla told him. " girls tend to see me as a threat because I get along better with their "man" then they do." She said using air quotes with her hands on the word man. " it's quite annoying. So I stopped trying to make friends with girls."

"Thats terrible." Kyle sighed. "You are too nice of a person to be judged like that." He said. "And anyway you'd be better for any man than any girl that judges you like that!"

" when you are young friends are important for social development. I didn't have many as you can see. So my animals became my friends. Made my siblings a bit jealous because the animals all liked me more then them when they were suppose to be their pet." Kayla told him with a heavy sigh. Her family was another challenging subject.

"Hey it's okay." He said as he reached over and held her hand. "You don't have to talk about your family if you don't want to." He told her.

" it's just you and your sister right? No other siblings?" She asked curiously.

"On my father's side yes. I have seven siblings from my mother and Step-father." He told her. "Three sisters and four brothers." Kyle sighed.

" I have 5 siblings 3 sister's 2 brothers." She told him. " very loud when we are all home."

"I hear and understand that." He said. "Wen all 8 of us where home it was hell, literal hell."

" are you the oldest?" She asked.

Kyle nodded. "Yeah, I am. My mother has me when she was 17."

" oh yeah the highschool fling." Kayla remembered. " I'm 3rd youngest."

"Well, at least you aren't the youngest." He said.

" I don't know. I feel like then my siblings would have noticed me if I was." Kayla sighed.

"I'll tell ya, being the oldest sucks, being the youngest sucks, hell sometimes even just being alive is a pain in my ass." He said.

" this is true." Kayla nodded agreeing.

Kyle finished his beer and crushed the can flat as he grabbed another one.

Kayla relaxed looking up at the stars. " it's nice working here though. Even though I have to work hard to prove myself but at least I know I'm wanted."

Kyle laughed. "That's an understatement. He might not say it but Dad really does appreciate you here. I think this week was the first time in years I saw him actually sleep in a bit." Kyle said. "Thank you."

" well I'm just doing what is asked of me." She told him.

"But your doing more than just what he asks. You aren't done working until he is done, it's nice to have someone else be like that."

" I grew up on a farm the work was never done." Kayla told him.

"To bad not everyone has that mentality." He sighed. "Finding help would be so much easier." he said.

" people these days aren't thought a hard work eithic. " she told him.

"That's the truth i'll drink to." Kyle said as he took another sip of the beer he just opened.

" it's sad to see." She said softly.
