"Really? we took you into our home to help you and be can't be trusted?" Sam asked turning to look at Mondi. "You wan't to know something i use to think the same thing that they couldn't be trusted when i first came here, but time and time again they have proven themselves to always have our backs they have became my family, and guess what you're now part of it if you like it or not. these guys are the one's who are going to find out why you have Air abilities why Orion can see souls. and Why you three are pretty much exact copies of them." she had her hands on her hips staring at him daring him to challenge her.

"I have a family! And you fucking kidnapped us!" He snapped. "if I was stupid I would try taking all of you out, but I'm not!" He snapped. "I just want a good life for my brothers, without all this bullshit, I was trying my best to make it good for them !" He said motioning to the place around them.

"At least this place has constant food, heat and electricity is that so bad? is it worst then the squaller you were living in?" Sam defended her home. though she covered Orion's ears when Mondi Swore. "You would be dead before you even touched us if you tried to take us out.

"That's exactly why I'm not fighting you! And sure this place has food, heat and electricity but it was given not earned. I let Azeri get away with stealing once and now he cannot stop!" He shouted.

"So maybe the fact he doesn't have to scrounge for food he'll stop? I stopped stealing once i realized i don't have to do it anymore to survive." Sam snapped backed.

Raymond got up in her face and towered over her, hate and pain in his eyes. "I've been trying! You may have come from similar but you didn't come from us! You aren't one of us!" He shouted as his fist curled. "You don't know what I've had to do to get them this far!" He shouted raising his fist.
"Mondi!" Azeri yelled jumping up suddenly.
Mondi suddenly stopped his fist pulled back. He struggled for breath. Ajax looked at Mondi with red eyes, blood pooling in them. Mondi hissed in pain as his body was forced to his knees and his arms twisted behind his back and he fell to the side panting for breath. Ajax stood over him. "Listen well and listen good for I will only say this once. This is my house. This is my domain. I can easily kill ever one here, guardians included. If you ever threaten my family again I will not hesitate to harm you." Ajax said as bloody tears rolled down his cheeks. "Am I clear?" He asked.
Mondi panted and narrowed his eyes. "Crystal." He grunted out and Ajax released his grip on Mondi who inhaled sharply and coughed on the ground. He stretched his limbs and got up slowly and started for the door.

" why can't he see we are trying to help him?" Sam asked looking at Ajax.

Ajax wiped the blood from his face. "Sam I remember you being the exact same not even a month ago." He said. "You have to give him time. He's probably been hurt a lot." He said.

" yes, but we are throwing him a life line." Sam said softly.

"You didn't take it at first either." He said.

" yes. But I was different." Sam told Ajax.

"Were you?" He questioned.

" I didn't have anyone else to look after." Sam told him.

"That's why it might be harder for him. If he is anything like Rayyan he's got a heavy head of pride."

" I know." Sam sighed wondering if she should go talk to him.

"I'll stay with the younger two if you want to go after him." He said.

" would I just make it worse though?" She asked looking at Ajax.

"Maybe just try listening, and not so much talking." He said.

" yeah... I guess..." She sighed. " I'll go make sure he's okay. "

Ajax nodded over took cooking after all it was what he did best.

Azriel and Orrik were still on the porch reading through books as fast as they could. "Damnit this would be so much faster if Rayyan was here!" Azriel cursed.

Sam walked passed them looking for Mondi she stopped looking around. She listened for his soul.

A low rumbling came from the forest.

Sam wasn't to worried about the noise she figured it was Mondi.
