The next morning the gang had slept on the living room floor, and Altria was given the couch, so she didn't harm the unborn child. They woke to the sound of frying eggs.

Jules woke up on the floor and gave a yawn, glancing around sleepily and rubbing her eyes. She went into the kitchen, her hair sleep tousled and sticking up.

Jules walked upstairs to the bathroom, where Conner had bandaged her wound the night before. She searched the bathroom drawers, feeling uncomfortable as she rummaged through another person's things.

Annis was still sound asleep on the floor, and arm under her head while she laid on her side. It was likely she wouldn't get up for a while, even though she was the first to go to bed.
