Ethereal and Indelicate (Zombie and Superhero rp)

Comet's jaw clenched and he stared up at the ceiling.

"I'll see you on the other side kid, Hoss smiled as the pain grew worse and worse.

Comet tensed up but he already mentally resigned himself not to scream. When it got worse he closed his eyes and struggled on the restraints.

Hoss left the room knowing the transformation normally took a few hours.

Hoss came back a few hours later, expecting him to have died from pain.

Comet was still alive, sweating and mostly out of it. He groaned as he heard Hoss come back in.

"Oh wow, you're alive!" Hoss grinned. "How ya feeling?"

"Awful..." Comet replied faintly, his eyes still closed not looking at Hoss.

"Oh I'm sure." He said.

"Now what?" Comet muttered, his nose bleeding a bit. "I'm assuming you don't want me dead now."

Karson want outside and found Comet's toolbox on the ground by the inner wall. He looked around and called for him to no reply. He picked up the box and carried it back inside.

"I want you to be you now, and just remember I blessed you." He said.

"Where did you find that?" Wolf asked Karson.

"Blessed?" Comet laughed. "Well next time I'm in pain for hours on end I'll be sure to count my blessings."

"Outside, by the wall." Karson replied as he put it back on the shelf where it belonged.

"That's strange." Wolf said.

"Well, try it out boy. Test your new body."

"It's Comet's but he's nowhere to be seen." He said

Comet lifted his arms feeling the restraints gone. He sat up slowly, shaking. He stood up and held the table for balance. "Am I returning to the Haven or am I to be one of your cronies now?"

"What do you mean, no where?" He asked.

"Do what ever you want." He said.

"Well he wasn't out in the yard and he normally wouldn't leave stuff just laying out." Karson explained. "We could look through the hotel, maybe he went up to his room."

"I definitely don't want to be near you a second longer than I have to." Comet stumbled towards the doorway.

Hoss watched him leave with a smile.

"Okay, let's look around." Wolf said.

Comet made his way outside to the street. He looked around trying to find his way back to the Haven but everything started to look very blurry very quickly. He wandered off down the nearest street, heading East.

"I'll go check his room first." Karson went upstairs.

A few hours later a car horn honked outside of the gates to the Haven.

[Veli left but now he's back]

Nyla was sitting in her medical pay. She sighed it was quite again. And she didn't know what to do.

The truck honked louder and Veli sighed before getting out. "How do I open this stupid gate again?"
