"Because Water overpowers Fire. If we where to let Azriel connect to his souls she has then try to sever her soul so Azriel get's his parts of his soul back, he will get it back, but her soul will still douse his soul, it will consume him. He will become much weaker if her soul is connected to his, instead of him losing some of his soul. It's a factor of the lesser evil." He said.

She grins. "It'll be our little secret. And besides, we're friends now. Friends help each other when they're in need. I won't let anyone harm you."

"Come on Lei, let's go." Eli said

" seriously?" Sam shook her head.

"He grinned. "Wonderful, we can start as soon as possible." He said. "But let's start tomorrow." Akeldama said.

"I'm being serious, it's not like we haven't thought of it before." Ajax said.

Ajax stayed silent for a moment. He stood up with a groan. "I'm gonna put a barrier around the house, hopefully no one else got out." He said as he took a step and started to fall. He gasped. His blood dripped out and formed a cane of blood for him to support himself. He caught himself and sighed.

" Like you're in the shape to do anything." Sam Commented.

"You're right...I'm not but i'm not about to sit back and do nothing." He said. "Just...see if you can clean any of Azriel's Wounds."

" I can easily make a bounty around the house." Sam told him. " Plus I've leaned Azriel up as much as I can. Eli really needs to take him to hell to heal."

"But you can't make one that can keep out higher level demons. " He said.

" Why can't i?" Sam asked putting her hands on her hips.

"Because unless you can weave, Alchemic circles, Demonic words and biblical scripture into one, you can't." He said. "You've barely learned the basics of barriers."

" Then why don't you teach me?" Sam told him. .

"It cannot be taught in a day. You must first learn and understand how to make Alchemic circles before you can move on." He said as he limped off. He stopped and looked back at her. "If you'd like to help me...I will not deny it." He said.

" I learn better watching and doing then from a book." Sam said following.

Ajax nodded and lead her outside the house. He walked slowly and weakly, leaning heavily on the cane his blood had made for him. "I'm sorry Sam." He whispered as they got 500 feet away from the house and stopped.

" Sorry for what? " Sam asked.

"For not...being strong enough to protect everyone."
