Guardians (RP thread)

Fallon hesitates a bit longer, weighing out the pros and cons in her mind.

"Yeah, you'll need Orrik's help with blocking out souls." He sighed and nodded as he followed her into the house.

"Go a head, tell them a few things...but nothing out of the ordinary. Just start off with your favorite things." Akeldama told Fallon. "Letting them know a few things won't hurt...or if you want to throw them off tell them how much you despise them." he chuckled.

"...I like climbing trees..." she mumbles, looking away.

“Climbing trees is good...” Lei said, nodding slightly

"You can hear the wind better up high..."

Eli just sat there and listened quietly while eating.

"Why would you want to hear the wind?" Lei asked, glancing at Eli.

" wind is her element." Sam said walking into the kitchen. " it's like how I enjoy being surrounded by trees." She looked at Fallon. " I'm sorry for snapping at you earlier. I was very stressed trying to keep everyone from dieing. And I shouldn't have taken it out on you." She let out a long sign sitting down at the table as well.

Lei nodded to Sam and went quiet for a while, thinking about some things.

Eli glanced at Lei, "Don't you feel a natural connection or affinity to your element too? I mean... I love fire. When I was bored in the past I on occasion, in a safe place where it wouldn't spread, set fire to random objects and stuff so I could watch them burn."

Lei nodded. "Of course I do."

"So how are you?" Lei asked Eli.

(I just noticed Lei and Eli are spelled with the same letters)

Rayyan. Azriel's Voice said into both Sam's head and Ray's, Sam just happening to be listening by accident. Do not make any movements to alarm the kids, but while some of my barriers where down some blood demons slipped through. Make up some excuse to leave for a moment and go outside putting up your strongest angelic scripture barriers around the house. Also put up a barrier to keep the kids in that area. We do not need them to be caught by one of the demons. I still don't know which ones exactly are gone but when I do I will report it to you so you know how best to strengthen your barriers. Azriel said.
Rayyan's face changed as he stood up. "Excuse me, I just had a vision of someone near here who needs to be escorted to the gates of heaven. I will be back shortly." He said as he got up and started to leave.

"It's okay, Sam..." she says softly. "I don't know what happened. One minute I was standing with you all, the next I was in a tree. As soon as I heard the wind, I somehow forgot all about the battle... It was really weird."

" I still feel bad for being rude to you." Sam told her with a sad smile. " is there any way I can make it up?" She looked at at Rayyan. 'liar she said in his head. 'do you need help?

"...I guess we can slowly get to know each other...If we do projects together, it'll get easier to trust each other...Maybe pair up each time with a different member of the team."

Rayyan shot Sam a glare. "That was a conversation for Myself and Azriel alone. What did I say about reading people's minds and thoughts without permission." Ray warned her as he got up and left. " And no, I do not need your help. You can't properly create barriers anyway." He said as he closed the door. "You and I should speak later about this." he said as his mind slipped out of range.

Lei watched them quietly, looking a little confused before staring down at the table-top.

I wasn't reading your mind. Azriel projected it into my mind too.Sam snapped back crossing her arms glaring at his back as he left.

Fallon watches Sam's expressions, noticing how she glares at Rayyan. Akel...What's happening? she wonders.

Sam glanced at Fallon. " I um made dinner so y'all dig in."

"What is for dinner?" Lei looked up and asked hearing Sam.

"Oh nothing darling. Azriel just hasn't realized that his soul connected to the new guardian of Earth's when she tried to soothe him before. So no matter where he goes, no matter how quietly he speaks, she will always hear him." Akel chuckled. "It will slowly drive him insane to have her always listening to his mind. They are twisted together now." He told her. "But do not worry about them. They are not important, only you and I are." he said.

As Akel spoke to Fallon, a sharp pain shot through Sam's head but only for a small moment.

Okay, Akel. "Smells nice," Fallon comments.

Akel watched silently from the home he and now built in her mind.
