Ken moves to face her. "Dawn," he says gently, cupping her face. "I'll make sure I heal properly, so don't worry so much, alright?"

" I just don't want you to scar so badly..." Dawn looked at his chest.

" if you keep reopening them they will." Dawn sighed leaning into the hand rubbing her cheek.

Dawn soon crawled into the bed with him.

When Ken woke up, the sun was shining bright. He was still curled around Dawn.

Dawn was asleep snoring lightning, her dark hair fanned everywhere.
